About You

About You

Hamasaki’s wardrobe: While she’s in the clear box her clothing is similar to that of the 50s. This was a time of innocence [also reference the girls in Victorian wardrobe in the PV for ladies night, another era of politeness, vanity, innocence and aesthetic tastes].

The clear boxes: If you remember it flashes the boxes and the lights. The lights almost remind me of stars or maybe the lights of a city since you can’t see the stars from a city. I also believe the boxes are representations of a city, they’re trapped and spread apart in two different places. Also notice at some points a man is standing near the boxes or in-between. This might just be avex or possibly max maybe even just someone who emotionally split the two people. Maybe he’s even just that, an emotion.

The girl with the tattoo on her back: The tattoo is a phoenix and most people should already know that, that represents rebirth. I also think it has to do with how painful tattoos are and in a sense how painful rebirth is.

I think a lot of the other stuff is just there for aesthetics.

btw, if your explinations are too long, people might not want to read :\
