that exact thing has been happening to me! the mysterious 3 gigs that's never used. I always thought it was just me, but I'm glad that its more common. so really I have a 27 Gig ipod video. but really I can't complain, I'm just curious. (maybe its used for the extras like the stop watch and clock and stuff, who knows?)
