Although I have to say I did like the first single a bit, but then I heard the whole album...

Yeah .. the girls could do something rather then stand there.

Do people in Japan really wear that much make up as they do? O__O;; I doubt it. I would die if I wore make up caked on like that.

I agree that Gwen is better in No Doubt. Her solo stuff is just independant things and I doubt she'll be doing 'pop' with No Doubt.

It seems to me that she's just selling Japanese fashion clothes in the US and making loads of money off it. Way to be original.
That's pretty sad.. making buisness off from another country's trends just to get cash and be in the spotlight plus she's stressing on stereotypes and providing a false image of Japan.

Yup That's gotta suck for them

I don't like the whole 'false image' thing, but nothing is stopping Gwen from doing this stuff

Since when have Americans had an accurate portrayal of asian cultures?

So it is true that she doesn't allow them to speak English? -_-;; Aiya...yeah, I hate how she acts like she discovered/created Harajuku fashion -_-;

Since never? I come from an area where there are very few Asians around...a lot of people (who are less cultured..) always assumed I did all these stereotypical Chinese things -_-; Made me quite angry while I was growing up. -_-

Yeah, many Americans can be quite idiotic sometimes. And Gwen Stefani really ISN'T helping with these stereotypes. I'm glad I'm not the only one that despises her (I didn't always; the first No Doubt album is fantastic; it all went downhill after that).

I wonder if she'll keep the Harajuku girls for her next album. It should be a year or two before it's released, since she'll probably want to spend time with her baby. Gwen has seemed a bit too enthusiastic about the girls in the past (I think she said things like 'oh, you can see them too? I thought they were just my imagination' to a reporter). I hope she decides it's time for something new.

Yes, I think she's gonna try a new concept. Hope its a good one too. Eventually, the girls got less and less featured on her PVs and Cool had none..

I love both Gwen and ND. The whole Harajuku Girls thing was awesome. Although they did wear too much make-up and they were creepy sometimes. Like when Gwen was doing interviews they`d just sit there like statues and stuff. *shivers* I`m really looking forward to both the new ND album and Gwen`s second solo CD but more ND. ND are currently back in the studio recording another album and I`m so happy.
