Hey I just realized Rich Girl is a quasi-cover of some song from fiddler on the roof... the one that goes (in my roommate's imitation) "If I was a rich man, yubbi dubbi dubbi dubbi dubbi dubbi dubbi doo"

Yeah, I noticed that the first time I heard it. I thought it was funny.

haha when I first song I was like "where have I heard this chorus before?" and then I realized it was from Fiddler on the Roof. I was like I never liked that song from Fiddler in the first place, and Gwen's "cover" of it just makes the entire Rich Girl song sound silly =/

Now that you mentioned it.

I loved the lyrics, it's so cool...and sexy...and hilarious.

My school performed Fiddler on the Roof last year as the spring musical and since "If I Was A Rich Man" was one of my favorite songs, it was only natural to really like "Rich Girl."

"LAMB" along with Christina Aguilera's "Stripped" are 2 of my favorite American albums. Both are produced incredibly well and have very catchy songs. Whenever I play "LAMB" my most listened to tracks are "What You Waiting For," "Rich Girl," "Bubble Pop Electric" (my favorite!), "Luxurious," and "Danger Zone." I guess my least favorite is "Hollaback Girl" because of hearing the s-word over and over again, but the ". . .is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" part is hilarious.

I haven't heard any of Gwen's songs except for the two singles she's released and they're really good. She's supposed to be having this contest sponsered by MTV at MTV.com. The grand prize winner gets to go to Japan and get madeover Gwen style and be an extra in one of her videos with the Harajuku Girls I think you also get $25,000 (or that's how much the makeover will cost)...I'd sign up but you must be 18 years+...So goodluck to anyone who's going to sign-up.

^ Oh wow! Perhaps I should sign up for that. But what exactly is "Gwen" style? Is it all LAMB clothes and purses or is harajuku makeup included?

I've just downloaded her new album. It looks like fashion week's soundtrack. =p

The songs are catchy. I like What You Waiting For and Danger zone but I'm not so into her songs. =]
