Since most of the "dirty work" was done by me a while ago, to add this will take all but a minute or 2

1. open an existing style like "rainbow" in the CP and copy the code in the template that says "hl_statistics"

2. go to the styles without the stats and make a new template called hl_statistics with the code from the previous one

3. In tthe forumhome, add this wherever you'd like (preferably on the bottom):

$top5threadstats

That's it!
