how about Nami Tamaki? if your budget is $20, get the oversea version of her old album. Most people prefer her first album, greetings.
or 東方神起. they are from SM group too. Yes, BoA is their seniors. Their music is good. I recommend you to get this japanese album, Heart Mind And Soul CD + DVD Edition of them. You WILL Like it. here's 2 of their songs for you to sample. i had 'Oh holy night', a duet they sing with BoA, if you want it, let me know!
