She's never had a yearly #1 album. The highest she's ever gotten was #2 for 4 years straight. (Beaten by Mai K; Hikki x2 and CHEMISTRY)

hehehehe nice stats... and you know.... in my opinion ayu is surely certified as a diva and senior in avex... so they do not put ayu ini direct competition into another artist... or maybe avex does not let ayu to do this and that things as often as before to make some room to other competitor or new comer singer... so I think avex wants ayu to be like madonna..... and does not really care with their singles/album sales..... just put the best effort coz the legal download for blue bird itself is 700,000++ >.< which makes sure that ayu is still received.....

I just mean do not bash another artist >.<

ULTRA BLUE will most likely beat (miss)understood, and most likely will the be the highest selling ORIGINAL female album of the year
and look at it
if there wasn't iTunes Japan for the Japanese to download the albums
imagine how much ULTRA BLUE will sell
it'll probably sell like her past albums, DEEP RIVER, or Distance
same with (miss)understood, it would've sold alot too
