JEWEL's got that piano thing going on, BLUE BIRD has subtle strings arrangement with violins.. Born to Be.. had hot Olympic drums <3

I really think STEP you is really really far from even being considered a rock song....Having guitars doesn't turn a song into "Rock" (Or else we could consider the bubblegum pop soong "Rock With You" from BoA a rock song, and that is really far from being one). Guitar infused pop can't even be considered Pop_rock if it doesn't have any real rock elements in its arrangements either.

Genres is a lot up to your own personal taste, there isn't any real definitions or laws. Some norms can be found, but those differe a LOT depending on where you look.

Definition of pop = all music that people listen to, all genres.

Apart from that pop there's also pop... which could be sorta defined by songs like Material Girl by Madonna.

Well, I think "STEP you" does have a little bit of rock. But it's clearly a pop song. It's kinda like "Stronger" by Britney Spears for me. It's obvious pop, but with a touch of rock.
