When do you think Secret will be leaked?

I felt like asking peoples opinion on this, From enebba this is when previous releases were leaked

1. HEAVEN single (avex trax, Japan) - 320kb/sec mp3 files for both 'HEAVEN' & 'Will' were available three days prior to the release date
2. UNITE! single (Drizzly Records, Germany) - 192kb/sec mp3 files for four remixes were available six days prior to the release date
3. Bold & Delicious / Pride single (avex trax, Japan) - 192kb/sec mp3 files for 'Bold & Delicious' & 'Pride' were available eleven days prior to the release date
4. (miss)understood album (avex trax, Japan) - 320kb/sec mp3 files for the whole album were available eight days prior to the release date
5. Count Down Live 2005-2006 DVD - the concert was just published but bootleg DVDs were for sale and ~5 Gb file could be downloaded for 2 months already
6. Startin' /Born To Be... single (avex trax, Japan) - 192kb/sec mp3 files for three songs are available two weeks prior to the release date
6. BLUE BIRD single (avex trax, Japan) - 128 kb/sec mp3 files for the whole single are available three days prior to the release date

So im gonna guess that it will be leaked around 7 days before release. I think (miss)understood was leaked so early because of shops needing the stock as it was christmas time. But because of lack of material this year i think more people will try to leak the songs, hence 1 week before.

But hopefully it will be earlier, we allready have JEWEL

I hope it gets leak the day of release, why? I think that whole eight days prior to the release of (miss)understood staggered some sales.

I wouldent think so

Evanescence's The Open Door was leaked a month before the release date and has allready gone platinum in america within a month.

So leaking dosent really effect the sales

An album/single reaching platinum doesn't prove that leaking does not effect the sales.

It's true though, piracy is not very wide spread, and the kind of people who get their hands on leaked stuff is the kind of people who wouldn't buy it anyway, apart from the die hard fans who'd buy it anyway. It's a minority who change their buy or not buy habits thanks to leaked stuff.

I'm guessing around a week before.

yeah, but one selected example doesn't either prove or disprove norain's opinion.

who knows when it will leak though. i'd say it'll be 5 days or so before though, just guessing.

We'll probably get some previews for momentum / 1LOVE / JEWEL and then spaz about those for a week and by then, the entire album would be out..

i hope two or three days before release...i dont want the bootleg or piracy comes two weeks before release...its kind of scary if that happen

There's a case for how piracy doesn't matter sometimes too. It leaked a full month early, I believe, but still went platinum in a snap.

Very impressive.

God, I hope we get PREVIEWS this week at least. Maybe a leak like Thanksgiving week. I won't buy it till 1. I have the money and 2. till both versions are available as the cheap Overseas versions, so...
