Wasn't the tattoo just a rumor back in 2004, but the pictures didn't pop up until in late 2006?

Well, the hairdo was the MY STORY-INSPIRE era, and she was in the USA..

The thing about this is that NO ONE knew about that tattoo until recently.. So, using it again wouldn't really make sense.. ._.

I guess I'm the one not understanding it...were all those pics recent? truehappinness is saying that picture is from 2004, so I'm believing in him.
If ALL the pics are recent (2006) though, then it won't really be obvious that the tattoo is real!

Haha, I can't argue with you if you, Impact, want to put a [Rumor] tag on this topic, I suggested that in the thread before I edited the first post with new pictures and clues.

I might be naive even remotely trusting newly made friends who have worked with Ayumi during her photo shoots.

Yes, it is very unlikely, but it is odd that the very same tattoo has appeared more than once, and together with the announcements about a secret... but maybe that is what it is, just a bit odd and seemingly coincidental.

Adding to this there's the pronunciation about part of the tattoo on the Secret cover being real, by Leslie Kee's co-worker.

It might very well be him wanting to spread a random rumor, but everything adding up seems too much for it to just be a rumor. Looking at all of it in separate parts, it does seem unlikely that it would be real, though.

Personally I could not care less if she had a tattoo or not, it's the discussion I live for

Well, I'm not in denial that the tattoo might actually be real. I'm just trying to get to a point that nothing is still solid true for us to confirm it as real (imo, and I can be proven wrong). There's a chance it could be real and they actually go airbrushing and hiding it and making it a secret, but there's also the chance it's just another temporary impersonation of ayu and people are creating rumours about it bein real.

I know that in the first post, and overall, I do sound very much like it is a fact that it is real, but I tried to leave it quite open in the first post that it may actually not be real and should not be taken as a fact.

I agree very much on that we can not be sure until there's been some a lot more official pronunciation about it.

I really does seem like a lot of unnecessary hassle, hiding it.

Like has been mentioned, if now she has got a tattoo, she wants to keep it a secret. In that performance, just like all other, it would be airbrushed over.

She wouldn't walk around showing it off without announcing it first.

I don't think it would be airbrushed over. I mean during that performance of JEWEL it was a LIVE PERFORMANCE! They probably concealed with cosmetics or something.

she's not very open about her love life in public, but there has never been much mistery that she's in love with tomoya other than people creating rumours about their relationship not going well, tabloids and other fake stuff. I don't think she's kept tomoya a secret at all.

for the people who thinks she just got a tatoo that looks just like the one it posted on the news paper,i dont think it could be just a chance that she got a tatoo that looks just like the one they posted on the news paper about her,a tatoo that has the exact half heart shape and font as the news papers one,thats about a 1 out of 1 billion of a chance.

i tried very hard to find something wrong but not the tinyest flaw was found.

now looking at the album cover seeing how the tatoo was the main focus point it i think it means that this whole album is almost just completely deticated to tomoya,unless/if here are anymore secrets on this album, hopfully Ayu will release it during some of her to come interviews.
