! It feels as if it's being sung by a person who's grasping onto the last glimpse of hope over Christmas. Hopefully she makes it into the FNS list...

I really like the covers. Much like her older beauty shots, which is always amazing. Her hair color looks a little too ashy, but other than that, they're GORGE.

It kinda reminds me of a much simpler and classier MY STORY cover.

I LOVE the previews. They're beautiful. The second half of the preview just blew me away completely. Especially the part where she sings the chorus and it's all quiet--you could hear her voice so clearly there and it's just beautiful.

After listening to the previews, I don't really know what to say. The Quality is really bad and it seems to early to make a decision about it. I think I won't listen again until we get a good quality full song file. I need time for a song to grow on me and I cannot say "Wow, amazing!" yet.

but im really excited for the whole song and PV

and next week the BALLAD chakauta starts

*oh and I speculate ayu will sing BALLAD at Kouhaku, as her tie-up is with an NHK drama, the same station Kouhaku is on.

also, apparently the reason RED LINE is tagged with ~for TA~ is because when ayu's friend died, she wrote about it in her blog and members of TA kept asking ayu to write a song about it, featuring the same emotion she was stating in her TA messages, or something of the sort. it has nothing to do with members of TA supporting her more or anything. (my roommate told me) because *technically* only members of TA are supposed to be seeing her blogs, it's for them in the sense that they know why it's being written and the background of it.

if that makes sense.

I'm suspecting what Ayu means with the title RED LINE after tokyoxjapanxfan's explanation of the song might be 赤い糸 which symbolizes a deep connection (usually romantic though) with someone that cannot be destroyed.

I wish I am in japan now so I can also download with my japanese phone haha... I cried listening to the preview. It's a great song!

yeah, Maybe we are the fans can accept her reason, but what other people not a fan would think about that?

I still cant accept although TA asked for that...

huff no matter what I still love ayu but I will not like it.

You were.... is really predictable lol. I just knew that there would be a guitar solo bridge, the choruses would gradually become louder, etc. It also sounds a LOT like Days.

It's a very pretty song, but not special.

I should note that I love the vocals, though.

If that's true, then RED LINE might be more emotional than the other 2 ballads on this single..
