If it was the camera mic, you would hear hardly anything. It would sound like a lot of the tv news clips do - a complete loud mess. Every CDL uses the board sound system, it just doesn't get mixed to perfection until the DVD.

This.

It is possible that TBS got a seperate team mixing the sound of the TV broadcast(just the way they have their own cameras there it seems), but the mix definitely is a professional live mix and not some mic recording.

Well, I finally got to watch this concert last night and I must say, I really enjoyed it! I was REALLY surprised by some of the songs she sang. This year's CDL, along with last year's, are definitely my favorites thus far.

All the seats are 7800 yen, but people buy the tickets before it goes on sale and sell it for a higher price.

Ooh, so many people went too!! ^^ I was there as well, at block H (marked my seat in orange). I just about cried when ayu appeared at the small sidestage, she was SO CLOSE!!!

If you're really lucky, you can get it at original price, as all seats are the same price. But most likely you'll have to resort to resaler shops to get such good seats. The lowest resale price I've seen for an A-Block Arena ticket is about 50,000yen for a normal arena tour show, about USD$500. For CDL, because there's only 2 days, the price for tickets go even higher (esp for 31st).

When I saw Ayu I got 4th row A block next to the catwalk for Arena Tour 2008. Purchased them on Yahoo Japan auctions for around $1,500 U.S. I believe. Had to buy them as a pair and sold the second ticket outside the arena for $100... But it was worth it! Lol. (unfortunately the person I sold my ticket to caught the autographed Ayu ball she threw toward me )

Wow , so its from $500US - $1500US!?

But, I guess its worth it, right? Cause I was thinking if I was to fly over there to see her concert, I want to sit as close as possible. I guess I better start saving lol. Thinking about going to CDL this year.

@all.night.raver - Thats a bummer, she could've at least give the autographed ball cause you sold her the ticket for $100. lol.

The ticket themselves would probably be 70-80 dollars... maybe 100. But I doubt they'd be that high. Usually that's after resellers get a hold of them.
