I think that ayu doesn't care the drops in sales from past years is pretty proving the nothing she does is for the money. If she wanted she could easily get it high, but she is just natural with her work and do what she feels like, as she need.
She wouldn't invest a lot of money on PVs and stuff specailly for her fans to enjoy if she would do it for the money.

thank god we live in a free world and we are very mature and don't bash around cause we disagree and behave like a very immature babyut.... that was close; a lot of things you said maybe true but others .. let's just say I do see things from another point

So you say that kumi pulls avex? Well I really hope she doesn't...
Though kumi shouldn't be discussed here (now someone will ask then why I mentioned her, I mentioned her as looking how her career is being treated by avex as for the past posts).

Anyway I just love ayu's new single, it's amazing! can't wait for the PVs ^_^.

People are less accepting than before and that's why most just getting bored, high expectations and high demandings.

Yeah! is like that all the time!,more nowadays, although I can understand why they say that, who dosen't want another rainbow or surreal or duty??? I know I would... I obviously don't expect her to make another SURREAL or a sequel to it. I just expect her to make a song that makes you go totally WOW at first listen, reason why I take SURREAL as an example. I completely disagree with people who says this is all in the past and that she has changed. You guys are severely underestimating ayu's recent potentials. I'm not one of those "I am..." exclusive freaks. In fact, alterna, HEAVEN, Moments, walking proud and BLUE BIRD have been some of my most favorite ayu songs ever. "Will" is a masterpiece. It doesn't need to be a Duty/I am... or any other old song in order for ayu to make something quality wise. She also doesn't need to be on a suicidal depressive mood in order to make an excellent song, this is nothing but a silly rumor. Again, while I'm actually LOVING (and i mean it) this new single, glitter could have had a better chorus. It sounds a bit disconnected from the verses and it isn't very catchy at all. UIt ends up spoiling what could have been a much better song. Overall both songs sound slightly rushed.

However, even with my complaints, I'm listening and enjoying both songs a lot.

Fated is probably going to be one of my favorite songs. Glitter still needs a little time to grow on me, but when I first listen to Angel's Song I was like WTF? but now it's one of my favorite songs (plus the PV totally changed my opinion), so Glitter will probably end up as my top played song. But yeah, the chorus of Glitter seems to be a little disconnected.

Kiss'o Kill would have made a good Single. But I don't mind her experimenting on albums since I buy albums and not singles.

In my opinion, so far, I like fated better than glitter. I don't really like glitter because it sounds too much like BLUE BIRD. I know that all of her summer songs are very similar, but BLUE BIRD and glitter sound too much alike. And I strongly dislike the long instrumental. Not because it's long, but because it sounds like it was made by some 13- or 14-year-old fan that did a horrible job "remixing."

On the other hand, I really love fated. I think it's a perfect song for a movie, it sounds very Western (which I absolutely love!), and... well, that's really it. Who needs ten thousand reasons to say why a song is amazing? ^^

fated is one of the wow songs for me. The first time I heard the full version, I was in omg happy tears...I've been waiting for a summer ballad for like 4 years now. As for glitter, I'm still kinda shocked that ayu would make a song like this with such cool intrumental bridge. It makes me wanna see the live performance very badly.

Man, I'm just disappointed because Ayumi was able to bring a "fresh" sound with her Secret album (Until that day, Kiss o' kill, 1 LOVE, and to a lesser extent momentum and It was) and I had hoped that 2007 would continue with that. It's not that hard to bring a fresh sound because she's always somehow able to do it - I admire her for taking risks but dear lord, I die when she releases silly things like Beautiful Fighters and HONEY. Part of me, Glitter and Fated really just don't stand out to me at all and I feel like she took a step back =/ I think her lyrics have turned to "blah" lately (since 2005 at least) and are bordering superficial. I just hope Fated has good lyrics. I miss Ayu writing about herself and I loved her emotional lyrics (A Song for XX album lyrics are still the best in my opinion) but understand she's at a different point in life now. I'm just tired of her formulaic material - songs for spring (which tend to be more original than the rest of the material she releases during the year), happy pop song for summer, slow boring ballad for autumn/winter.
