I can't wait for a slightly shorter preview of it to be up on their website & that goes for Gekijou & SUMMER PARTY ~Acoustic Version~ too

Up ! is great . I had fun watching it in the cinemas but I was too emotionless to cry

yeah Chappy is just so *___* . It's only about 3 months old , it's funny to suddenly see Shinpi as a daddy to it x)

I'm listening to their albums again and I'll put a ranking xD but I think my # 1 is probably FIGHTERZ

aha yes I know x) . With the guys updating their blogs daily & Nat translating them , of course there's a lot of things to talk about 8D

Kevin was amusing in the Up ! movie , it's a she & not a he xD

yeah FIGHTERZ all the way . I overplayed it a great deal since last Dec when it was released , it's that GOOD <3

it will be a bit hard for them to top things up with their future 5th album but I have confidence in them for bringing the goods

I'm thinking my ranking will be like this

# 1 FIGHTERZ - The album is really well balanced, Not too much Rock and not too much ballads. Orion, Snow Rose, Bambino and, Hikari are the stand out tracks for me. I love all the tracks but my least favorite is probably LOVE FIGHTER.

# 2 CRASH & BUILD - It's a surprise that it's my # 2, It's not as diverse as BIG BANG! and FIGHTERZ but I find the ballad/slow tempo songs so sincere and I must admit Dandelion made me cried

# 3 BREAKERZ - I'm sure this is also a surprise, I enjoyed the album and it's very dear to me, It might sound monotone and the whole album doesn't really have a strong distinctive sound but somehow it's really enjoyable.

# 4 BIG BANG! - This is probably the biggest surprise, I enjoyed this album a lot and it's really diverse and unlike their first two albums that sounds sometimes monotone. My favorites are Shakunetsu, Aitakute and, Summer Party. It's surely better than the first two but I just find the first two album really special and dear so I might be a little biased.

#1 FIGHTERZ

amazing amazing amazing album . I crowned FIGHTERZ as my fave album of 2009 in my music blog somemore .

The singles on here were weaker but somehow or another , the album tracks were on par if not more superior than the singles

most importantly , there're a lot more music variety styles going on in FIGHTERZ other than Rock & that kept things fresh , interesting & a lot more exciting

SECRET GIRL is like their sexiest song to date in their discography

#2 Ao no Mirai

yeah it's a mini album I know & there're no singles included

BUT BUT BUT the album tracks were very solid & Ao no Mirai (the song) is the very 1st song that Shinpi composed too & it's 1 of the many songs they never fail to do live

in fact a great deal of tracks from Ao no Mirai , they tend to perform live quite regularly especially Crystal Night to fire up the crowd xD

The only song I skipped is DESTROY CRASHER which's ironic since it's the last track on the album too -_-'''

#3 CRASH & BUILD

same as Ao no Mirai , CRASH & BUILD is a very solid album offering even though no singles are included

it's a lot more put together as compared to their self titled debut album . Also more importantly , AKIHIDE has more personal input & that gave birth to 1 of the best tracks he wrote/composed for the group aka Nanzenkai ... Nanmenkai

Just like the album tracks on Ao no Mirai , song staples such as NO SEX NO LIFE , B.R.Z ~Ashite e no Kakehashi~ , SUGAR BABY , EMILY tend to be done live many times over & over & over again

#4 BIG BANG !

Their 1st album which included singles

their 1st 3 singles were very strong & great . However this led to a big backlash as the album tracks somewhat were like 2nd fiddle if not poor cousins as compared to the singles

To me , only BIG BANG ! , GUILTY , Aitakute stood out . Ok maybe for BUZZER BEATER cos Shinpi composed lol but the other album tracks were really weak & not good

& Sentimental Scrap is a prime eg. which Aki didn't had a home run for that T-T & that goes for Day Solider too

#5 BREAKERZ

Their very 1st album

I wasn't surprised when I found out this album didn't chart on Oricon D: cos I had a lot of dislike towards it & that also didn't helped that most of the songs found on here were solely written/composed by DAIGO , except for 2 songs which Aki composed

But now in a way or 2 , I began to change my opinions towards the album & songs that I didn't like before such as Nights a Brighter , Neo-Breaker , Drive the Ocean , I feel ... have grown on me significantly

the power of watching the guys live onstage while doing those songs x)

But it's a stepping stone for them that's for sure & of course REAL LOVE ehehehehe 8D

man , writing that LONG post made me realised just how long they have come since 3 years back ;__;

so I frankly will not be surprised if everyone especially DAIGO gets real emotional in due time when they return back to perform at the Budokan on 30th July

He was almost on the verge of breaking down when I saw their last July Budokan DVD footages from their WISH DVD when they did Hikari as their 2nd last encore no. too

but nah I leave things as it's but yeah they have grown significantly , musically & then some since being formed 3 years back

you know what's the scary thing ? Everytime I see them , they kept on getting younger as time goes by D:

yeah maybe . If you watch the PV for THE TRAIN'S GONE ... & let alone NO SEX NO LIFE ... you compare both against SUMMER PARTY , it's so D:

especially for GRAND FINALE too , my oh my , the PV for both the single & album versions are *__*

anyway since we both agree that FIGHTERZ's 1 great album , here're some trival facts that I can share with you

- SUPER-HI-TENSION !! ; like what I said on Twitter , its original working title was Go Go L.A xD

- Everlasting Luv ; the original demo for the song was a BALLAD can you believe it ? D:

but DAIGO had an idea to let Aki's guitar rip super big time in the song . In fact you can hear traces of ballad like notes going on in the song come to think about it

- SECRET GIRL ; originally was written by Aki but DAIGO rewrote everything from a girl's point of view & it's deemed a super 'erotic' song -_-'''

I don't see how erotic it's because if you seen the translated lyrics , erm not really to me

but on the FIGHTERZ CD sleeves , both their names are credited in the writing section

- Bokura ; In one interview, DAIGO explained that he wrote/composed Bokura after a drinking session with the other 2 , during the course of which, they started crying.

SHINPEI denies remembering that such a thing happened, however o_O

- Hikari ; the electric guitar solo for Hikari was very difficult for Aki to get it right . It took him about 4-5 times before he finally got it

- Feel so Good ; even though it's the last song on FIGHTERZ , it's the 1st album track they recorded

I know cos I saw that happening in the documentary making of FIGHTERZ x)

& oh yeah they took about 2 weeks to record/finish everything from writing , composing , producing & shooting of the jacket covers of FIGHTERZ

yeah 2 weeks's quite fast . That's why DAIGO said before on his blog that they pushed themselves to the limit & next level (pun intended)

but hey the efforts that went into making FIGHTERZ was every single bit so worth it
