Famous unit GReeeeN wrote and produced Niji. Here is the full PV on youku. I'm torn. I kind of like it, but I don't love it. But the PV is lovely and the song highlights the boys voices! Nissy and Naoya really shine in the song. Hidaka is not featured that much, but there is a lot of Shuta and Shinjiro, too! Misako and Chiaki are barely there, maybe GReeeeN prefers to write for male voices.

Niji is a song that takes a while to get into. Each time I listen to it I like it better. It is different from the usual AAA song. I hope it'll be succesful. Curious to who is releasing that week? If the competition isn't to hard maybe they have a chance for another Number 1.

After all, unlike the Korean counterparts the Japanese competition is quite stiff with all kinds of flavors of music here... But yeah...with this AKB48 (and Johnny's) it's really hard (if any) to get a top spot!
I can't wait for Niji, but any other releases besides AKB48 and AAA that week? I know Arashi is releasing something new, but that's an album, and I'm talking about singles here... |

ugh this year has been brutal with the 48/JE monopoly at first, no female soloist has topped this year chart and only like 4 non-idol acts have been first this year
anyway besides AKB, Yuma Nakayama from NYC is dropping his single and Yusuke

finally got to this single!!
Rainbow is... I like it, but I dont know... it seems like something is missing... maybe it will grow on me. I like it though, so thats good. good day... is... well if Im confused by rainbow, im even more confused by good day... lol this is not a bad single, but I just dont seem... fulfilled by it, lol. |
