Evanescence is okay but I would take Nightwish or Lacuna coil any day over them. Tarja beats Amy Lee easily and so does the girl in Lacuna Coil. Try LC's Comalies or Nightwish's Oceanborn or Wishmaster. They are better than evanescence.

You definitely know your stuff. You just named three outstanding albums. Wishmaster and Oceanborn are easily Nightwish's best two albums. The others aren't too shabby either. Crisina Scabbia is the female singer in Lacuna Coil, by the way.

I'm really excited about their upcoming album ^.^ according to their official site at least one song on the album will sound like the days of Oceanborn

I hope there is more oceanborn stuff on it. CC wasn't that good, I didn't like the way Tarja sang on it and the bassist/singer guy is very overrated.

Yeah, I definitely agree. Tarja sounded.. plain. Marco isn't too bad but I feel he had too much input in the album. There's like one or two memorable songs on CC which is too bad. And they sounded too similar in style. Oceanborn I think was a very diverse album.

There is a rumor that Wes Borland may be replacing Ben Moody in Evanescence. I hope that rumor comes to be true. I didn't like Wes' work with Limp Bizkit. But he is a good guitarist. He left LB because he wanted to do more technical music. Anyone who has heard his work with The Damning Well or Big Dumb Face knows the guy can play. I think he is really what Evanescence needs. Right now the guitarist from Cold, Terry Balsamo, is working with them as far as finishing the tour. I for one really hope the Wes Borland thing pans out. He could help them reach their true potential.

The vocal are pretty awesome but the songs are a bit repetitive though. I don't really think the guitar is that bad on Fallen. I wouldn't mind if Ben returned really. Problem is I think they wanted to make a thematic album and well it got way too thematic, the songs are almost like a fusion. Not to mention how many of the songs talk about an unbearable pain? I get to listen all the time in different tracks "oh this pain" LOL

I really like the songs "Tourniquet" and "Everybodys Fool".
