I don't know. I won't sign it. People should really give her a break. I mean, i'm not being bias, i'm not a fan but it saddens me to see that many people hate an artist for lip synching. Just look at Britney Spears and Eminem, Usher, etc. They all lip synched sometime in their lives. I mean, we should give her a chance. I, for one, would like to see her releasing more stuff so we actually see if she's worth it. No one's perfect. Her songs from her AUTOBIOGRAPHY album are actually worth the time to listen to, like "SHADOW" and "PIECES OF ME".

But it sucks for her that many people are against her despite the fact that her album sold over a million last year. I heard many of the people who hate her BOUGHT her album, that is so sad.

Some performers have their reasons. I don't like Britney but her dance routines make it understandable that she lipsynchs. With Ashlee, she's been marketed as "real" and if she can't sing live she's showing that for all the claims she's still product. Britney was more honest.

And I wouldn't dislike Ashlee so much if she'd acknowledge her limitations. She never does that though; it's always someone else's fault. The band, the acid reflux, the other performers, the Orange Bowl audience. She is a complete unprofessional brat. As a perfomer she should listen to negative opinions as well as the positive ones; she could learn what people aren't satisfied with and work hard to improve herself in those areas. But she's shown no sign of caring to do that, so I doubt I'll support her any time in the future.

Well, yar, I don't really have anything against Ashlee so I'm not signing the petition. Yar, although she lip synchs and everything, she still does have songs like Pieces of Me and Shadow. I don't think lip synching is bad enough to bring her whole music career down.

Yar, and I actually hope she still produces more songs! I think she's kind of good still. I mean if she could sing songs like Pieces of Me and Shadow, then haha, she can continue singing, although I do have to admit, her LIVE singing really needs a LOT of tuning up.

But still, yar, like the Orange Bowl Jeering incident, I don't think people should just hate her like crazy and find some artiste to toy around with. I mean just after the SNL lip synching thing, well, haha, people don't need to go all berserk and well, we declare we hate ashlee simpson!

I do have an issue about her "acid reflux" and her irresponsibility in admitting to her lip synching charges, but then yar, I think she still can sing and we should still give her an outlet somehow. She really isn't that bad, just give her a chance. But then again, yar, it's going to be really hard for her to get back on the track again. I don't think any artiste has been hated so intensively across America like Ashlee ... geez ...

Okay, i don't like Ashlee Simpson either, her music is bad and her voice is worse than Britney Spears', but i won't sign this petition because it's just stupid. If you don't like her or her music, just don't listen to it. This is ridiculous, it's not gonna make any change. And like a petition is gonna stop her?

Why do you guys hate her that much anyway? I'd like to know that.

i dont hate her, but i dont think she deserves the spotlight nor the easy path given to her from her sister. it's not fair.
