Why do people hate Born To Be...?

The only time I liked Born to Be was when it was performed on her (miss) understood tour, man that was amazing, but I find it usually really boring =S
Dunno' why, I guess it just never clicked for me.

I don't hate it but I don't like it. It just doesn't connect with me. It's one of those very few Ayu songs I don't like, there aren't many others...

I have to agree with truehappiness, this song is really powerful and amazing!! I don't know why people hate it. the PV is not that bad too, I mean she looks really pretty there when the 'talking' part.
it's one of my favorite songs of Ayu..

I love Born to be..., the song and the PV. I didn't watch the PV a lot but I've seen it a few times to where I can find that I like and can watch it without saying that it's bad.

actually born to be is a pretty good song...the chorus and the music are dynamic and powerful..juz that the pv is crap because its too bright!

Haha, that's exactly why I love it. That and the nice use of back-up singers/a choir. Though... I can't listen to the song, like, daily. If I hear it once a week or maybe once in two weeks, that's enough.

I hope Startin' and Born to Be... get PV retakes, too. I thought they were pretty... lackluster. BtB... had a good idea and yknow, came off as looking mostly like a solar flare, but I honestly love BtB... so much. It IS very powerful, very encouraging, and it's probably one of my favorite Ayu songs. It always cheers me up.

I love Born to Be... It's really inspiring and powerful.

The PV was kinda bland, but I loved the feature of children and the dancing is artsy :p

I like the song itself, I just don't really like the PV...too yellow, you can hardly see Ayu at all, but the parts with the kids is cool. Makes the PV a little bit better.

I love the song. I love the performance on the tour. I dont like the pv though. A light tone down on the lights would have been better.

I love Born to be... but the PV is wayyy to bright for me lol Thats why I barely see the PV at all. But the song is one of my favorites! It really gives me an energy boost when I need it

born to be... is a good song. I didn't like it at first because its too Olympic but after watching at06 I really like the song. Its very powerful and inspiring. Plus there's no other ayu songs that you can compare it to..some ppl say ayu recycle her old songs...but you can't say it to this song.

I think some ppl were turned off by the pv. The concept is good...I think it actually fits the song...the kids and everything...but the lighting is too bright. If it wasn't for the lighting, it would of been a good pv. The same to startin'... the song is good but some parts of the pv made me dislike the song is some way. The only part I like from the pv is ayu in the black dress.
