Definitely "evolution" & "duty". There are no other songs from her that are quite like those two, that I know of.

I think most of ayu's older songs r unique and distinct. Songs like Hana 2, too late, monochrome, fly high, surreal, far away, vogue, m, i am...,....ar...too many to mention, they are superb.

Born To Be...!! the constant percussion from the beginning till the end was flawlessly perfect!

and also Beautiful Fighters. It's definitely distinct but i dont like it.

The Judgement Day too! The pipe organ (not sure if it's) sounds distinct enough.

Maybe I'm stubborn, but fated has a special song, especially in the beggining, and the percussions sound really distinct to me^^ Then Bold & Delicious (of course!!!), still alone, and Naturally, Real me.

The first one that pops to mind is kiss o'kill. I've been a little obsessed with it as of late, lol, and I honestly don't think I've heard ANYTHING like it as far as Ayu songs go...

monochrome also comes to mind because the song has a relatively even pace, Ayu's voice is soft and a little quiet throughout--and then the way it just abruptly cuts off, as if a plug was pulled or things just came to a screeching halt, always struck me as something really... well, different I guess.

talkin' 2 myself, Connected, alterna, B&D, ourselves and Born to Be... also fit in here, IMHO. I feel like on each album each song was on, they stood out almost like sore thumbs or beacons, but not in a bad way!
