The attendance is based on tickets sales, not really on how many people actually went to the concert. If reseller shops bought tickets, those as counted as attendance, even if the shop couldn't sell it to the final consumer.

People were saying there were empty seats on some dates, and if a lower than expected attendance was the reason the tour didn't get more dates, this doesn't mean Ayu (or Avex) were losing money (as the tickets WERE sold to the shops), but that they could if they kept having new dates.

It's wierd since people that were on the last dates in Nagoya were saying that the place was completely full with no empty sits at all, and it's not even Tokyo (where most of the fanbases are) and this is the last month of the tour. The number of empty sits or lack of attendants is probably minor enough to not be a trouble, and even though it could be a reason no one said that it's the real reason why the tour didn't get another leg. It could also be because a different schedule that doesn't allow it. ayu said that she is going to record in the studio back on September and it probably wasn't something that got scheduled on the last minute. The Rock'n'Roll Circus tour was also said to have loads of tickets at re-sell shops but then it got the extra 7 days and in one week.

Well, I'm not saying it was a total failure... But if like 5%, 10% of the total sits weren't used, extending the tour could make this number larger... And while the resellers had bought all the tickets so this isn't a problem this time, if resellers lose interest on Ayu because there were too much tickets unsold, that could affect her next tours. ^^

I was half joking :-p I don't really know (or care) how well the tour is doing, and was just poking fun at the articles that keep saying she's not selling well in the ticket department.

But if there were flyers going around to locals trying to get them to the show... That's not necessarily the best if signs. But I don't know if that's 100% true or not.

And major areas like Tokyo Osaka etc. will always have tons of tickets at resale shops, but I don't know if that's the same for other places.

Anyway, either way, getting more active in a positive light is always a good thing.

Well usually DVD/blu-rays don't get such a promotion, especially not more than a single /album lol. But I guess nothing is really not going to be released at least until October/November.

I guess it's just that she has other plans going on after the tour / near the end of the year. Maybe that's why she finally decided to not extend the tour, even though people are still going to the shows.Just maybe.

ayu wasn't on a Popteen issue since September 2007 and she used to be featured there every year! I wonder how come she is back to Popteen or what happened that she wasn't for 6 years and now is back? hahaha

People said that she stopped Popteen because they usually use younger people for that? But then it's now proven as not true =P
