well, i think is pretty acceptable as ayu is a professional artist and ... a perfectionist too.
yeah her concert = her rules, but wad i mean is that .. ayu and her team is always trying to give the BEST show for the audience ( and of course , her FANS like us ) well, i think the girls do understand her situation as well as ayu does too. and yeah.. at least ayu admitted in the documentaries .. ( consider apologize to the girls le bahh? )

yeah.. it's ayu's show. i dont think ayu would want any of her dancers to ruin her show. i am glad that her dancers do spent some fair shares of joys together. ayu is not totally bad. When it comes to fun, all are happy together. When it's work, ayu is the boss man...
to be nicely said, ayu wouldnt want her dancers to hurt themselves shld something happen to be blunt, ayu jus didnt want her dancers to ruin her show. HER show. it's jus how we look at it. and the hoops dance isnt that bad right? different methods with the same effect. so why grumble?

actually I saw lotsa of times Ayumi being mean, in ntv 2004 report for example, she was mean cuz they brought her the wrong t-shirts!
ugh....on the one hand that;s okay, she's the boss, on the other....I guess it's just a trait of character maybe? she supposed to be bossy, everything must be ideal... |

Well I think it is a little unfair, but if they were messing up big time, then it makes sense as to why she made a cut.
![]() It would be terrible if they made an awkward (and not to mention noticeable) mistake, but I can see why you are a little offended. But you do what you gotta do, I guess lol. |

Well, it's not really unfair because both dancers really couldn't do the dance well..
IMO, they could've probably done it perfect maybe once out of twenty times.. It looked like they didn't have the strength to lift their bodies up..

Frankly, what Ayu did was mild compared to how things go in show business. That's just how it works when you're putting on a show. Sometimes entire numbers will get cut the afternoon before the show opens. This means that some people might even lose their jobs if they only appear in that one number. It cold and tough, but that's just how it goes.
If things aren't coming together quickly and nicely enough, they have to be either changed or cut. Ayu could have simply removed Chisa and Midoring entirely from that part of the show, but she didn't. She had Peco give them something else to do, so they will at least still be on stage. At the end of the day, that's all a dancer can ask for. And the fact that Ayu went through Peco is a sheer matter of administration. Peco is the choreographer, which means the fabric routine was her responsibility--not Chisa and Midoring. Dancers are only pawns in show business. If Ayu went straight to the dancers, that would be like the general manager of a department store going to two clerks in the menswear department and telling them that their immediate boss (the menswear department manager) has to sell green socks instead of red socks. You don't do that--you work your way down through the bureaucracy, and Ayu is at the top of that. |

But I think team are deep friends - you can see this at concerts so there is no hard boss-emloyee relation

I agree with evolusean. I don't think it's unfair.
They signed up for the job, and it comes with it. Being a dancer is not easy, it's super hard work, and things like that have happened and will happen in the future also.

Quote:
she's the boss, it's her show and if she doesn't like something she changes that, even if she has to be hard/mean/~or else~ to employees (especially if she's the producer of the whole thing... dunno if she is this time, but probably, yes)

They don't work for nothing, they get to travel a lot for free and they get paid for what they do.

The fact that Ayu cried after that is evident that she is hurt too.
She did it to protect Chisa and Midori... and also of course to protect her own show. A good leader is hated (not that I'm saying that her dancers hate her...), the fact that what Ayu did actually pissed someone off just proves that she's an excellent leader, which is why her tours rock so much. |

While we're at it lets complain about each time she said she didn't like something. >.>

she's almost the executive producer, what do you expect? not defending ayu, but this is reality - you listen to the boss.
