I just listen to all song samples ont this korean site and Ayu sounds horrible in RULE, especially if you listen to the other artists first.
Boys & Girls in this video is similar...

I do hope it's just one concert and the rest was better vocally.
Does anybody know which concert will be the one on the DVD? The Tokyo one?

well, she sounds better screaming boys & girls than she does attempting to sing it
so i enjoy it! all of her boys & girls performances have so much energy & she's always having fun, so i don't get tired of them

I think that she sings that song how she sould be.
Screaming it with laughters it's just the way to get the crowd pumped.
Otherwise it would sound flat imo.

Singers shouldn't be so technical all the time.
If the singer has a good balance of 50% technic and 50% (or even higher) conveying emotion that's what is important imo.
Mainly technical singers can bore the hell out of me to be honest.
That's might be why I prefer ayu's vocals over others'.

^ Yeah, usually I prefer live versions of Boys & Girls! Because she sings it like a human. It's a HARD song to sing pitch-perfect, and it wouldn't be a crowd-pumper if it was so.

Yeah, I think you all have a good point. It's ok, sometimes even great, with Boys & Girls, it's a fun song, but it troubles me that much with RULE, cause it sounds the same way in this audio we have.

^ Well, I think for the most part with Rule it's just the DAREKA NI KIMERARETA RUURU part that sounds a little off, but I don't think anyone could sing that and have it sound good~. XD

i actually also think that her Rule is not that good~~
i don't know if the audio fancam that made it sounded so bad or she sang it bad..but on that audio, i think she didn't really sing it well... but never mind~ i love it when the fans screamed over her when she first came out!!!

i don't know when the audio was taken, but on saturday, her voice was good for all of the songs. but i liked a song for xx the best.

but rule was really really strong, i liked it better than the performance at the first next level date that i went to :-\

just not her hair so much...
