It looks Gaga-ish in the sense that it's weird and fashion-centric, yeah. But some people make it out like Ayu is ripping off Gaga's style when she isn't even the one who designs a lot of her outfits (Gaga that is).

To me it really seems like Ayu is just revisitting things from her past, as she said she was doing.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Ayu knows next to nothing about Gaga. She doesn't seem to pay that much attention to the music industry, ha ha.

Yes, I must say I hate when other members go and bash people for having opinions. But to me it seems like the only reason people are saying it isn't GaGa is because they feel it's what they have to say to defend Ayumi. GaGa similarities does not mean Ayu is a terrible person and artist and unoriginal. I think that's what everyone is taking it as and that is not what I'm saying at all.

The relationship that Alexander McQueen has with Gaga is bound to circulate when people see other artists using his specific designs in their productions.

It's not rocket science.

I personally thought of him and his collection when I first saw the outfits.

That's my pov since I pay attention to fashion. Other people will see other things, other people will see complete originality.

ayumi is not a worldwide sensation and she wasn't at her peak. she is mainly famous throughout asia. lady gaga has touched all over the world and has many worldwide number one hits. that's why people say lady gaga is bigger than ayumi.

This. It's only because the U.S. shoves everything they produce in everybody's face. It's hard not to have at least heard her name whenever they try hard as they can to toss it into every media around the world. If GaGa came from Japan, she would have never gotten to be one tenth as popular as she is now, and comparing her to Ayu would be like comparing......Ne-Yo to Michael Jackson. (Random, I know, sorry. >_>)
Japan not only doesn't care about making it outside of the country, but they often even don't want to. Ayumi obviously doesn't care about making it out of Asia, and we know she'd be fine if she was only known in Japan. But despite all that, she has tens, maybe even hundreds, of thousands of Westerners, alone, who know her name. That's a very impressive accomplishment, something that GaGa could only dream of achieving.

You can say what you want, but that Ayu is using some exact same outfits as GaGa (like the X-factor Bad Romance outfit) is pretty lame IMO. There are so many outfits out there, use some other ones. The red skinny dress thing is amazing, use more original ones like those.
