Wow, Showtime is so awesome! I just realized it today. Other than that, the whole album still sounds brilliant. Except Glow. I still can't force myself to like that. The local newspaper reviewed the album today and praised it a lot but still managed to fit in a sentence criticizing Glow.

I'm a bit late, but I figured I should share my thoughts anyway.

When I first heard of her new single, Promiscuous, I was a bit disappointed that she was going into a "sexy" direction with her music. After listening to Promiscuous, I actually thought she was a bit of a sellout for a while. Then I read reviews of her album that said it was her right as an artist to go into another direction with her music. I guess those reviews were responsible for my changing my mind on her music. I love her new album and her sexy image now. No Hay Igual, Promiscuous, and Maneater are stuck in my head now. I applaud Nelly for her new album, and I'm happy it's selling well.

I agree. It's a great, melancholic song, and yet it still retains that club feel as the other songs do.

The "Maneater" video, making-of footage and a photo gallery with "Runaway" playing in the background. The "gallery" is pretty much the same three or four photos on loop, though. =/

I didn't like Promiscuous at first... I thought she was selling out. But it grew on me fast, and I like the album a lot.

I hope I can see her in concert again.

I don't understand how people can say that Nelly's a "sellout" because of Promiscuous or the Loose album

If you don't know, Nelly originally started out as an R&B/Hip-Hop singer before she became famous with Whoa! Nelly

I think...

^I didn't know she was an R&B artist. Maybe they didn't know she was one and contrasted works such as Promiscuous with something like I'm Like a Bird? I confess I thought she was a sellout for a while until people helped me realize she was just taking going in a direction different from albums like Whoa, Nelly! and Folklore.

Probably because not many people knew... if it's true.

Nelly was brand new with Whoa! Nelly.. at least, to a LOT of people she was, even in Canada. But Promiscuous was more catchy than the preview and first listen let on, and Loose overall still felt like Nelly to me. I liked it.

Nelly's new video is out. It's for the All Good Things (Come To An End) single which will be released in the UK on the 27th of November. The video is very different from the 3 other Loose videos. You can watch it on YouTube.

It's my fave video from Loose. <3 Very, very beautiful. Romantic too. I don't dig her hairstyle but in some scenes where only her eyes above are shown, it looks a lot like Natalie Imbruglia.

No Hay Igual recently premiered on Channel V the other day. It's pretty cool too.

I havent watched the new MV, please say that Chris Martin's vocals are left in...probably not =( But All Good Things is my favorite song off the album alongside Afraid. Promiscuous and Maneater are overated though IMO, but I still like them too

But I LOVE that song and want it to be released! *steps aside* Don't worry though, it's only in the Asia/Europe regions. The US is getting Say It Right and No Hay Igual.

The No Hay Igual video looks really cheap but sexy and gritty. Nelly Furtado looks her best there.

She's suddenly so beautiful!

Showtime is so awesome, but I never imagined it as a single. Strange.. Yeah, it would make a good radio single, they should release it. Do It is so addictive too, that'd make a good single!

All Good Things and Say It Right are very strong though. It's like on the first listen "OMG ITS AWESOME" at least that's how it was to me. Immediate appeal? People are pretty impatient, if they don't like something on first listen, they'd just change the radio station. Like my mom.

Do It would make me move something and showtime is R&B sexy-chill-ness

Say It Right sounds too sad and aggressive. It's like someting is "off"

It hasnt even been a week from the time a video was released from All Good Things.

O.o Now there's a video for Say It Right.

Plus the song has reached #51 on the Billboard Pop Airplay. My fave video off the bunch, it's so darn cool and stylish. Nelly Furtado is STUNNING in the video. She looks sexy, sultry and beautiful. The bangs certainly worked for her in this video, unlike All Good Things.

My fave vids in order <3 All of them are good.
1. Say It Right
2. All Good Things
3. Promiscuous
4. No Hay Igual
5. Maneater
