That's something else that tells me this is a rush job. The single is coming out in less than a month and they don't even now what will be on the DVD.

It's not so much that many sites led us to believe that it would be a triple A side, but that this single needs another A side. It's true that I almost always like the full versions more than the previews but, I usually like the previews to begin with. I mean the point of a preview is to sell someone on the song and it seems like neither of them are really grabbing people. They sound, at best, to be My Name's WOMEN level and at worst just run of the mill pop album tracks. They don't seem like songs that are really going to endure in the long run like Ayu's other summer singles have.

i'm confused though, i don't see anywhere on avex's site that mentions the dvd tracklist. i think the dvd tracklist and the possible extra's is just rody's prediction based on the normal ayu release pattern. of course, i can't read japanese so maybe i'm overlooking it.

Well, if that is just Rody's prediction, I take that part of my post back.

The rest of it still stands though. If even Ayu's fans aren't that excited about the songs, then what about the general public and the extra 100,000+ fans that Ayu needs to buy the single to get back over the 300,000 mark?

no... since that's a remix... the original version is not any ayu release... It this acoutic track would be a b-side then all remixes are b-sides.....which they are not.

And yeah... the tracklist of the DVD has gotta start with those two tracks.. Seeing her normal release pattern it will be that way. But of course there can be a huge suprise.... so that's indeed why I stated it to be unconfirmed.

i agree. the debate over a side b side happens with every single release. i'd think we'd be tired of debating on it by now.

Another single that seems rushed...she finishes her tour in early/mid June, then automatically goes and rushes another single. She should have at least waited until mid July to release it. I'm already setting my hopes on her fall single, since this one seems like it won't be her best at all.

SOrry, but to me this doesen't neccessarily seem rushed. The songs sounds good! At least I like the melody of blue bird a LOT. Probably everyone else will have different opinions though, but it doesen't seemed rushed to me. It seems like everyone is saying that because they were expecting more on the single. I'm more excited to hear who composed blue bird. Same somposer as step you or perhaps tasuku?

The wait for this single is already longer than the wait for many other singles from what I understand. I'm not sure, but I belive the gap between Startin'/Born To Be... and this single is quite long, time wise.

I really can't see why people are dissapointed with this single. If you stir up rumours and listen to them you gotta see that they might not be true. I'm extremely happy for this new single, 6 songs of which 2 are new and in addition we get 1 LONG awaited remix. I might be special in my way of liking all Ayu songs to an equal amount, atleast her releases up to now. Maybe I do not like how all of them sound as much, but they are all special to me in one way or another.

Not really. I know that YesAsia puts mistakes in release dates or something else 40-50% of the time. Plus, didn't they just say it was a continuation of "A", "H", "&"? Maybe they didn't mean to imply it was a multi-A single, but it was just a summer single similar to these ones....

I disagree. It's not like she finishes the tour, and just starts working on the single (ie: recording). She's been working on the single while doing her tour. Plus by the time BLUE BIRD is released, it would be well over 3 months (close to 4) after Startin'/Born To Be...

Well, the triple a-side was never fully confirmed. I always thought of it as a rumour, and most of them not true. But it sounds like a promising single, plus the title give a really good potential for a really nice cover and PV and Ladies Night~another night~ is just a great remix from the preview.

You have to remember that we, on this forum, are mostly fans who are NOT in Japan. We don't really know of what most of the fans in Japan feel about this right now...who knows, they might really like the tracklisting.

I bet fans in Japan don't even care~ 'Yay~ new single!' Even though some are sort of stumped that it was switched from the 3 new songs thing to just 'two' :/ I bet it was a time constraint or something..[it WAS on the avex site..]

But whatever. I really don't care about this that much. As long as Ayu's still releasing music that I can enjoy. [And I do love these new songs xD]

Plus a lot of us just judged the songs based on tiny tiny previews.. which is ...bad. I wonder if we'll get some really nice PVs~
