Ayumi Hamasaki's 40th single is called "BLUE BIRD".
The up-tempo summer-song "BLUE BIRD" (Zespri Kiwi TVCM-tune) is the opening of this single. The women-cheer-song "Beautiful Fighters" (Panasonic SD-audio D-Snap TV-CF-tune) is good for the second song. Furthermore, The Panasonic LUMIX FX-01's tune is on air under the name "Ladies Night ~another night~". The trance version of "BLUE BIRD (harderground remix)" also contains a great summer-feeling.
So these are 2 songs and 6 tracks orginised for the 40th maxi single release!

At first, Avex said it would be a tippe A-side singles, meaning there would be three new songs. They removed one song and said it was because they would be able to bring better quality this way.

^Yeah, that as well as the title is disappointing and kind of strange. I don't know, to me, it just seems like her releases have felt too rushed - like not as much time or thought has went into them as there could be.

For some reason when I see the cd title "BLUE BIRD", it makes me thing of
the forgiveness cover but ayu with a blue wings and a really dreamy/surreal
theme.
This is good enough for me, I've been hoping for another trance mix or some sort and damn..there goes my hope for "A ROCKS"

Thanks for the info! I was at first surprised that the single's title will be "BLUE BIRD"...since everyone has been expecting another one letter title after A, H, and &. But I''m excited about the release nonetheless, I hope they have some little bonus on the DVD...XD

Oh geez. I'm a little disappointed it isn't a triple A-side single but I'm definitely looking forward to Beautiful Fighters! BLUE BIRD just seems like a normal pop song to me ... Still, I'm rather disappointed at the juncture but the single has a good line-up! Where are the summer single lettered singles? *cries* Ayu could have probably spend more time investing on producing quality singles instead of rushed singles (I feel that her singles released have been quite rushed lately).

Yes, I quite agree. Since (miss)understood, Ayu has seemed to be rushing through things. Born To Be... was a disappointing song to me, the chorus sounded like fairyland. I wonder if she composed Beautiful Fighters or BLUE BIRD.

I’m quite disappointed at it, I was expecting something different for the 40th single. I’m actually more disappointed at this than the fact that (M)U didn’t reach the million mark.

I wonder does this have anything to do with the one of rumor going around where Kumi is going to release a 4 A-side single in summer...
