I absolutely agree. I think some people are getting a little too defensive about this though.

That's not a matter. Who cares if she's an extremely unknown artist or not, or if she's pulling tricks in order to promote her album. She definitely managed to get some attention with that, and I believe much more than if she had released a plain cover. not all artists in the world have to follow a diviaish style of building up their careers. Not all people who release a cd want to become an "ayumi hamasaki" blah blah For instance, comedians can make albums, even if they become a complete failure. Maybe this artist has other jobs and do other things for as living, heck who knows, we have no info on her career at all.

Did you see any Chinese articles talking about this album because it looks like MY STORY? Yea, she got attention here, obvious why.

I get what you mean, I'm just not sure they did it all for fun and great sense of humor, but more like "borrowing" creative ideas. Maybe if the artist was a comedian, but with those songs it doesn't sound like it. We can never know of course, if it's a joke or a creative rip off.

ahah I dunno, the reasons I think the cover might be more of a joke is because of the way she looks like a vampire, smiling/almost laughing, with a fake hair, and fake colors. Everything looks so fake there that the cover doesn't really seem to be meant to be something "serious" at all

I'm pretty sure I haven't noticed anyone say something offensive. The fact that some people are saying this cover is a "rip-off" and some see it as a "parody" is not something I think is worth getting all riled up over, as it's pretty much up for interpretation which one it really is. Unless any of us have talked to someone who knows definitively, no one can be entirely sure. Personally, I merely referenced something else that was an obvious take on something Ayu did, and that this was comparable.

Did you notice I put offensive like this: "offensive", mostly as an opposite to defensive. I was not saying anyone was saying anything rude, offensive. Yeah, I didn't actually direct that at you. It was intended to be directed toward any of the opposing criticisms since it has been going both ways.

Of course Ayu's MY STORY cover wasn't the best cover in the world, but then this woman has to go and make it even worse...I'm sorry but I have to agree that this cover is UGLY and not very creative at all, parody or not. And what is this I keep reading about her ripping off Ayu's ourselves PV? >.> Anyone have this album or any MV's by this person? I'd like to see this for myself, just to get a laugh out of it.
