lol yeah, i think the bias towards those 3 is so obvious.

but...isn't it the same in most of the groups? there's always those selected couple of kids in a group that JE puts out front (YamaPi, Nishikido Ryo, Jin/Kame, Yamada Ryosuke, etc.), but when the initial hype dies down you get to see the other members more. it took a while for Arashi to get recognized as a group too, yeah? i mean, Matsumoto Jun was the one that got pushed out front, but now the rest get recognized too.

i know it's bad and i feel horrible for the other members, but i won't lie, got into Kisumai b/c of Tamamori. (as with KAT-TUN w/ Kame, NEWS w/ Pi, Arashi w/ MatsuJun) :333

From a marketing perspective, it makes a lot more sense to boost the image of the most popular members. Ultimately, they're the ones who will make people fans of the group and get the most attention. From the start, Kitayama and Fujigaya have been the most popular even before the current roster was cemented. I suppose I would complain more if my favorite member was outside of the top 3, but that just isn't the case (Kitayama...). All's fair in fandom, and Johnny has never shown his management to be particularly kind.

Kis-My-Ft2 announces 3rd single, 1st album, & nationwide tour

On Johnny’s net, it was announced that Kis-My-Ft2 is set to release their third single as well as their first album this spring.

No additional details for both the single or album have been revealed at the moment. However, it was also announced they will be holding a nationwide live tour which will start on April 1st at Marine Messe Fukuoka. You can check the schedule for the live tour here. (The schedule is subject to change).

I'm buying all versions of the single and 3 of the album versions (Shop, CD+DVD, 2CD). It's just so easy to get wrapped up in buying everything when you have other fans around you and when you live in Japan, lol.

News!
As rumored for the past month or so, Kis-My-Ft2 are the new image characters for Kissmint gum. The new CM is scheduled to air early next week on April 13. Their images have also been posted on the Kissmint HP. A screensaver and wallpaper are available for download.

Here are screencaps of a newsclip regarding the CM.

In summary, there are 2 versions of the CM, male and female. Personally, I love it, I think it's hilarious and Fujigaya is beautiful.

Their Avex homepage has also been updated.

Photos of the SHE!HER!HER! single haven't been updated on the site yet but some fans have posted photos from Johnny's Family Club today, where the single have been put on display. The CD+DVD version is the Glico Kissmint boy version and the regular CD is the Glico Kissmint girl version. The shop version has no cover tie-in with Glico and has the boys shirtless (sorry, you can only see them from the shoulders up!)

Additionally, extra tour dates have been added to their 2012 tour, which has been dubbed the Kis-My-MiNT Tour. Please see Johnny's Net.

I think that's it! Most of this was revealed yesterday when ballot results were also released so it's been a busy 2 days for Kisumai fans.
