I haven't bought an Ayu CD in like 10 years. But I'm so happy that they're making a new Ayu Trance, I'm actually going to buy a copy when it comes out. And the more expensive Japanese version at that, so that it counts in Japan as a sale!

You were..., absolutely! I hope she goes with some of the less obvious choices like that, and doesn't just choose single tracks. Please don't make this A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES REMIXED~. I want You were..., Kiss 'o' kill, Marionette, Identity, countdown, etc.

Well I'll buy it anyway, because I can't not buy a CD she releases. I skip the DVD's sometimes because they're madly expensive, but I always get her CD's.

Oh except for Ayu-mi-x 6 because I just hated those remixes. But I bet they'll be better this time! Especially if it's really ayu-trance.

I think when this all started, it was just a few people inquiring about another Ayu Trance. I don't think it was people demanding a new Ayu Trance or anything. I'm sure people still respected that both Ayu and Matsuura are busy people and didn't try to push for it.

Obviously people have got excited now, but I still don't think people are putting pressure on them apart from the odd tweet or so - which they should expect, given the fact Matsuura practically confirmed they were working on it.

And also to the original point, that's it's rude to contact them to request something; I can see your point, but only when people go to the extent to spam them with something over and over and they've made it clear it's not being considered. It has definitely gotten out of hand. I introduced the idea to request an ayu trance 4 because I noticed some people around the forum also desired this release.

Since it worked, now every time everyone wants something, they think the answer is just to go tweet max about it, and I absolutely disagree.

I mean, yeah, our cause got lucky and it worked, but doing it every single time you want something is just annoying :/

For something like ayu trance 4, in the case where max and ayu probably had no idea there was an interest in this, it makes sense.

Do you see anyone asking them on twitter? Even if they were, it would be no more out of hand than people desperately tweeting just about anything trying to get ayu's attention, or worse yet, all the people asking mannie how ayu is doing. talk about disrespect.

I think Ayu and Max have definitely taken this kind of thought into consideration before they decided to create twitter accounts for themselves. Don't you think so?

tweet celebs to connect with them =/= tweeting the ceo of avex to express interest in an ayu release.

and yes, actually, I have seen it.

(worst of all though, and this has nothing to do with this thread, is when people desperately tweet celebs to get a response. i've seen tweets like "OMG PLEASE write back, it doesn't matter what, just write!" and i'm like seriously? get a damn life. ughhh.)

I have some desperate tweeting moments sometimes, when I tweet her the same thing like 10 times in a row (and she's never replied...) but at least I write something constructive!

i hope that the majority of ayu trance is songs that haven't been remixed before. like one of the tracks could be a dark, heavy, ambient, dub of guilty or something. I could definitely see guilty in the style of the hanabi lange remix.

Haha this thread has gotten really icy. Anyway, I don't really know how to feel about this...I was very much disappointed with Ayu Mi-X 6...and the recent remixes included on the singles have been lackluster. Who knows though, maybe it'll pull off the same quality as Ayu Trance 2. I'm usually not a fan of remixes unless they offer a quality arrangement that isn't six minutes of bleeping synths (Favorites include Endless Sorrow ~Juicy Ariyama mix~ and the beautiful Daybreak ~H/\L's mix~).

While I would LOVE to have an Acoustic Orchestra album, I feel like it wouldn't be anything new. It would end up being all the ones released on singles, plus some additional "new" tracks...like JEWEL, Virgin Road, and Curtain Call :p (in other words, pointless)
