Koda Kumi - I was really liking Kuu's stuff until late 2007ish >> Like, honestly, 2007 was just a repeat of 2006 for Kuu. And is it just me or is Kuu's voice getting really annoying? O-o; If you compare her vocals in songs like Ai no Uta or LAST ANGEL, for example, to stuff from secret, they sound a lot more whiny, imo. I don't really like it X_x; I didn't even bother with KINGDOM 'cause I know I was just gonna be disappointed x.x However, I DID download her 1st best, so it's revived my interest in her a bit~

Mika Nakashima - I used to LOVE Mika but I've lost so much interest in her lately >: I think it's because the majority of her songs are slow/ballads, and I just haven't been a ballad person lately X_x; And her new single isn't very impressive either, imo. I wish she'd experiment a bit more and make more songs like Kumo no Ito instead of either ballads/jazz songs all the time :/

Gackt: I used to be a huge Gackt fan, but really after the sixth-day seventh night all his releases have really been going down-slope, and there's something weird about his voice. I mean, I liked Todokenai something..., but I hadn't really liked anything since Another World came out.

Ai Otsuka: Seriously, it's like she wants to be mature but is grasping the cute thread to not lose audience. I love her 2004 and 2005 releases (well, SMILY and HAPPY DAYS were a little meh), but since Yumekui things have gotten a little dull. Pocket was decent, but it was nowhere near as memorable as Kingyo Hanabi or Planetarium.

Utada Hikaru: Granted, the ultra blue/heart station stuff is just not my cup of tea.

Oh gosh, I totally forgot about Ai! I've lost soo much interest in her recently too u_u You pretty much hit the nail right on the head for me, except I really liked her LOVE PiECE singles too~ But I found the album to be really disappointing, along with Pocket D: I love Ai's style but I wish she'd try something a bit different for once~

awww, hitomi needs the love! i don't think she's boring at all, lol. her songs are fun and energetic.

anyway, i guess you can say i kinda lost a bit of interest in koda kumi. mainly because she hasn't released anything lately, so it's okay. but as i discovered alot of new artists, my love for her isn't as big as how it was in 2006, when i first got back into jpop. but she's still my #1 artist.

Otsuka Ai - She's just been horribly boring since "CHU-LIP." I think that was the last good song from her.
BONNIE PINK - I used to really love her and her writing... where did she go?
UVERworld - Their music sounds too similar for my tastes.
Amuro Namie - I miss pre-PLAY Namie.
Koda Kumi - Kingdom was such a let-down for me. What happened?!
YUI - Boring.
ayaka - Even more boring!
Arashi - I still love them, but "Step & Go" was a mess.

For me its Ayumi atm. I love her old stuff but I REALLY hate everything after glitter/Fated D= I Don't like this dark side to Ayu ;-; I just can't feeel this dark music =(! I hope she gets back to something more happy and light or romantic and sad. Something not so dark >_<
