fake ayupans??

I was given the set from Asia Tour 2008 (not the anniversary remakes) as a gift.

I recenly noticed that one of them hasn't had her eyes completely coloured in. She doesn't have any pupils or other detail, just white and brown.

Also, when I was looking at them online I noticed the one in black and red (I think it was for the performance of my name's woman?) doesn't have the red feather thing on the back. I can't find any other ayupans online that are also missing this.

So yeah, it's making me worried they are fake :/ They both have copywrite AMG on their feet.

they were a gift so I'm not too sure where they were bought from. I really hope they are not fake. The rest look how they are supposed to. It is just these two.

i think those 2 are fake.

i saw them at ebay months earlier for an insane cheap price like USD$20 for 5 of them in a set.

There were 3 china sellers selling those, using the same pictures. and i remember that their [mnw] ayupan is just like your's, without the feathers at the back.

EDIT: Are all the ayupans have the same words at their feet, what's the exact word? I had checked mine AT08 ayupans and they had '@AMG'.

I checked and all of that set have @AMG. I guessed with the one with the unpainted eyes that maybe it was just a mistake when they were making it. But how could fans take off the feather bit? and why would they lol that is stupid.

^Avex's QualityCheck is very strict, i seriously doubt that it's a manufacturing fault, that is quite serious, uncolor pupils and missing feather at the back???? nooooo. Avex won't approve them.
it's the bootlegs companies made them, not by fans.

china have companies making bootleg anime figuries, some look like the real thing, while others look weird....and the price are at least half of the original, and the packaging look alike the real one. I accidentally bought some fake anime figuries before.... therefore i'm not surprise if they made some ayupans too.

Do you mind asking your friend how much they costs?
one more thing to be more sure, when you got the ayupans, do they have the original packaging?

^ they didn't come with the packaging so the whole set is fake? I'm so sad, I've never had a whole set before

I also bought 2 sets of ayupans on ebay from chinese seller called cnaw-shop. First from the AT 2008 and the second from AT'03-'04 (only them came in a look-a-like original package). But there are three problems:
1. My name's WOMEN don't have the red tail.
2. Figure dressed in the encore outfit can't stand properly.
3. They made a spelling mistake writting axev (instead of avex) on the package and ayupans' feet. (But these from the AT'08 have AMG on their feet)

Each set of 5 cost 0.99$, but the shipping cost for 5 pieces was around 10$, I got a discount (for asking over and over again if they are original) and I bought them for 17$ I think. I can't make pictures, I don't have camera right now, sorry.

They look really like the original ones, only the encore ayupan (and maybe the red tail, a little) made me angry, she's head is too heavy and she must be based on the CD/wall/whatever in order to be upright.

I don't think that first ayupan is fake 'cause I had one ayupan, that I bought on YesAsia from this set and it also has uncoloured eyes(I don't have it now so I can't show pics of it, but it had completely the same eyes(it was t2m ayupan)).

all ayupans from ayupan #1 to ayupan #88 are marked axev instead of avex.

while the recent ayupans marked as AEI for AT 2006,2007, and AMG for AT 2008.
and i still dont know for AT 2009?

Oh thanks ! Mine are AEI and I was beginning to freak out lol although they came packed from ... dun remember the shop lol

Older are avex or axev dun even noticed lol and the A museum under clear box has nothing since she has not feet for this one u_u but it cames in its box.

hmmm the one without the red feather doesn't stand up either, I have to put bluetack on her feet XD

I have the mirrocle world boat (which I know is official) and I compared that ayupan to the one from this set and they look exactly the same. man this is difficult lol

Hmm, I don't know if yours are fake or not, but poor handiwork isn't an exception even when it comes to original ayupans.

For example, I bought a few ayupans during AT10. The Encore one can't really stand, the NL one has a slightly crooked nose, and the In the Corner one had some bad colouring on her hat. So yeah, being original doesn't mean it's high-quality. Though this year's ayupans do have especially poor handiwork somehow, I was quite shocked when I was examining them.
