listens to ayu's music? It doesn't seem like it would be his taste, but I wish I knew the extent of which he took an interest in her career/music. Like if maybe he went back and listened to a lot of her old songs and lives and stuff like that.

Which also led me to wonder if he knew who she was when he first saw her. I mean, personally, if I was chosen to be in a foreign pop stars PV who I've never heard of, I'd probably look her up on Wikipedia immediately and read all about her.

i've wondered that before too. i kind of doubt he listens to her music. i don't really have a reason for thinking so, but i just think it anyway.

he did go to one CDL when they first met, but as far as i know, thats it. i guess i don't see ayu being his type of music.

^^exactly. but I would hope he checked it out a little. I mean...the last guy I was with...had never heard of ayu or jpop when he met me, but he let me ALWAYSSSS be the DJ in the car, and he would end up humming along to melodies of songs he got to know after a while. I know he did it because he loved me, and it always meant a lot.

What I'm trying to say is, I hope he truly loves her, and every part of her. Sigh

Not that that is a requirement to listen to music, but if you dont even like that kind of music why bother??

Im pretty sure when ever they are together Ayumi has him listen to demo's and stuff... its just like when anyone wnats to share something they created with the one they love...

I would hope after marring the woman he makes it a point to listen to her music... lol

I wonder if they've seen each other lately. Don't get me wrong, I love that she keeps it as private as possible, but I hope she's happy.

But I'm sure ayu wouldn't go along with something if she wasn't truly happy. She follows her heart, and wears it on her sleeve, like me...haha

I don't think he actively listens to her music, but I've always wondered if he went back and listened to her full discography. It just seems weird to imagine that he wouldn't be familiar with his wife's works. o_o

idk I think they have a lot in common actually as far as people they might listen to and classic rock, but he probably doesn't actively listen to all her music.

He certainly probably doesn't know her discography as well as all of us do

Yea, I wonder this sometimes myself. But we know he's at least heard Love songs, since he was given a copy of it. And it's no wonder that he likes November, I think I remember him saying he liked sending mail, too.

I've always wondered how someone who's interested in her music would even work dating her. I mean, how strange would it be "LET'S LISTEN TO YOUR SONG ______" all the time. I imagine that would be kind of strange.

If he loves her (which of course he does; they're married after all) then he supports her and her career. So of course he's watched/listened to her work and at least can appreciate it.

But yeah, I don't see him blasting BLUE BIRD on the LA streets.

I'm sure he's had the opportunity to listen to an array of songs from her discography but I doubt he listens to her music on a regular basis. He probably only hears her music through fans or when she let's him listen to her new material, maybe to seek a second opinion? That does make you think though how that works with dating/marrying someone in the music industry.

I know that almost everyone who knows or has listened to ayu's song has either played evolution, M a lot or Dearest. But who knows maybe he likes her songs a lot or totally not.

I believe November is a song she wrote for him, that's why I guess he's in love with it

Who knows really, there are many possible theories :

1. Maybe he didn't know/care/bother, he only got to know her as they worked together.

2. Maybe he was informed of her by his manager when he was casted to work with her. And then he got to her know as they worked together.

3. Maybe he didn't bother looking into her before he met her. But after he met her, when he got some alone time, he googled her.

4. Maybe he googled her before they met and that's how he managed to wooh her!

5. Maybe one of his friends introduced them and that's how he got to work with her.

6. Maybe Ayu discovered him and she was the one that persued him first.
