Hehe, never gonna forgive ya for loving country but I like rap/hiphop as well. Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, Jurassic 5, Mos Def, Talib Kweli... lotsa good stuff out there!

I don't really like trance either, 80's hair bands, disco.

But other than that I'll listen to everything, as long as it's good:

asian pop, noise, emo, punk, hardcore, death metal, grindcore, heavy metal, ambient, game soundtracks, classical, stoner rock, hiphop, jazz, anything...

I'm not much of a rock fan, but if there is a song I like in whatever genre, then so be it. On the flipside, every genre of music out there has its fair share of crap.

Not a fan of rap at all. I rarely even like Japanese rap. I used to be a Dragon Ash fan because they sing rock songs as well. However, I'm not a fan of most any rap in American because of the lyrics and the content.

I s'ppose I"m not a big country fan, either. However, it definitely has some place in my ear because I used to listen to it as a kid with my parents. ^^

A common misunderstanding. Not ALL rap/hiphop is about sex and violence. The [c]rap is, the good stuff isn't. Take Aesop Rock, Jurassic 5, Mos Def and Talib Kweli... those lyrics are pure philosophy!
