Ayumi songs you disliked but now like...

I've noticed that some of the songs Ayumi Hamasaki has written have really grown on me after I initially disliked them... What are some of yours?

Here are some of mine:
Snowy Kiss: someone described it as an ear-bleed. I agree to a certain degree, but upon just recently listening to it, I found it to be kind of amazing. It makes my heart rate go crazy because of how hectic it is. XD But the instruments were actually kind of cool.

Ivy: I originally found this song WEIRD. Like...I just didn't know what to make of it. It's probably my second favorite song from LOVE again now.

Meaning of Love: I really thought this song was super bland... Now, I think it's really pretty and sweet.

Real me: this song might be on the list of first ten songs I heard of Ayu's. I HATED it and refused to listen to it. Now, I love it. I think the lyrics and the song itself is really cool.

Dearest: I don't even know why I could ever dislike this song... When I was younger, I found it boring. Now I think it's one of her most beautiful songs ever....

They are no such songs, there are only songs I disliked and still dislike or such that I didn't really listen to enough to like them and still don't listen to them, but there is one song I didn't listen to much but then I heard a fanmade remix and I fell in love with the song, it's 'from your letter sleeperspaceborn remix'

My main problem at the beggining was with songs from ASFxx through I am.. era.

Also, I used to hate STEP you but now I really enjoy it! Others: HONEY (now I find it acceptable), Beautiful fighters (I find this song very amuzing!)

I totally know what you mean. I disliked STEP you very, very much. I now find it to be pretty catchy, but I still don't listen to it much.

I like HONEY, now as well.

As for her early albums...I think I've always had a soft spot for them.

I also think Feel the Love is a good song for her. I originally thought it was an awful song, but the PV made it better. I still really dislike it though yuck.

The only song that immediately comes to mind is Pray. I think I was like everyone else and suffered from severe ballad fatigue after Love again (even though I love the ballads on that album), so I was sick of Pray from first listen. However, some months later, I've fallen in love with the song.

I understand that everyone has their opinions but I don't understand how any one can think it is a "bad song." Even when I disliked it I had to admit it sounded great

On the other hand, I still hate everyone's favorite, Tell all lol. It is the single greatest disappointment in my 13+ years of ayu fandom.

I still haven't really taken to Pray yet... I do know that it's a good song though.

Anything from her first two albums is kinda hard for me to listen to because of her voice. I never liked YOU but after reading the lyrics and Ayu releasing a new version of it, I really enjoy it. I even listen to the original version a lot (can finally handle the voice after years xD)
The same happened with Depend on you and poker face, I needed time to like them and new/live versions.
I also never really paid attention to some other older songs, but after ayu performed them during PCDL I really started to like them!

I hated Microphone, but now I love it and also the video, and how it blends with "Sexy little things".

I used to dislike WHATEVER but then watching the live version from CDL04-05 totally changed my opinion of the song. Same with theme of a-nation '03 and the CDL05-06 performance.

I disliked lots of songs at first listen tbh, Angel's Song, Curtain Call, Daybreak, Greatful Days, Trauma and Voyage spring to mind...But I pretty much love them all now except Trauma!

When I discovered Ayu in 2006, the only song of hers I really liked was Angel's Song ... but I liked it so much I was willing to stick with her even though I didn't really like any of her other songs at the time. Originally, I dismissed M and Free & Easy because I had only heard remixes; but then I heard the originals and got to appreciate the genius behind them. M, right away; Free & Easy took a while to grow on me though.

This all happened around 2007/2008 though. Right now, the lists of songs I like and dislike is pretty stable.

I disliked "Moments" single when it was out. Same with "fairyland". I was like "waaaat, alterna is so grunge/rocky and goes with peachy-cute fairyland?" and now I really like those songs cause they are very pro arranged (the climax in fairyland is just pure gold)
maybe I like Moments bcause it was my first single I waited for xd And now i just feel sympathy about it.

I disliked whole "NEXT LEVEL" album and now I really like it.
I remember how angry I was cause from the previews it sounded amazing and then I was "meh."

I also disliked Don't look back and now I don't have negative feelings about it, but still, it sound a little boring to me xd
