Perception of Ayu's lyrics by the Japanese

Hey all, my lecturer for Japanese lyric said we could also give a presentation about pop songs. I thought about Ayu and her lyrics immediately, but since it's first comes first serves regarding the choice of topics, I'm running out of time a little.
So I would like to ask you if some of you may know an article/paper (preferably in Japanese, but English is also fine) about Ayu and how her lyrics are percieved by the Japanese?
If you have some article/paper/book in mind and could share it, me and my fellow students would be forever grateful, since it would save us from having to hear a presentation about idol groups.

Japanese Popular Music by Carolyn S. Stevens. It's an academic book. She talks specifically about Namie and Ayu, but I don't remember how detailed she gets.
