Ayumi Hamasaki x CONVERSE Collaboration
"CONVERSE" produced sneakers collaborated with Ayumi Hamasaki. Converse's standard model CANVAS ALL STAR is adopted as the base. Leopard pattern treated throughout the body, and "20th ANNIVERSARY" printed on the sole. Grommet part finished with gold, pink color used for the characters of the insole and ankle patch.

Nice collab! Just don't think that placing the 20th anniversary on the side was a good design idea. For me it looks like its Converse 20th anniversary lol Maybe they shoulda have added the A mark somewhere.

Classic leopard nothing to do with ayu, now suddenly has to do something with Ayu because of the A LABEL.

Well ok, it's all good. At least the print can be backed up as very Ayu.

Same, even tho I hate when people says "that's for girls, that's for boys" in this case I pass. But I think my problem is with animal print in general, no offense to anyone but imo I associete it with mature women, like those fancy ladies from reality shows or something I still think is a great collab tho

Tbh, the leopard print is a little too much for me, and I wish the A logo was placed better. I would buy Ayu converses in a heartbeat, but the only way for me to like this is if I like the idea of wearing leopard print shoes... which I don't :|

It would've been nicer had they used the designs from JTB instead!

I'm not saying leopard doesn't fit the Ayu "motif" is just that the placement of the "20th anniversary" makes no sense... for me.

It's not a bad design, but maybe if they mixed the leopard print with black or pink it'd look better to me. If it was easy for me get it I would tho lol

I re-read my reply and I noticed I may had come accross the wrong way. Sorry.

It was an honest question I know Ayu used a lot of of leopard print during all of her career and several of her collaborations actually used the motif, but I have no idea how often a random japanese person looks at leopard print and thinks "Hamasaki Ayumi". Is it enough for people to guess it's Ayu related?

For the fans of course and they are the cible so ... but still even recently when people talk on tv about the contribution of Ayu for fashion in japan, leopard prints is presented like an Ayu thing
