ferry corsten [right of way]
this got released yesterday in uk...
whats everyone think of it? i know da dutch peeps have had it since around october [??] so u guys have had months to digest it, ive only had 24hours so my impressions arent the best... favourite track = [sweet sorrow]... also like [sublime] [whatever] [kyoto]... [skindeep] really shocked me.. like whats rnb pop like that doin on it??? if it was just instrumental, i probably would like it more, but theres something too poppish about that vocalist, and the lyrics are too sentimental kamo na... [in my dreams] was a pretty disappointing finish to the album... the bonus cd of remixes was ok, specially the live version of [punk], hearin the crowd participation was interestin... overall, i dont regret buying this, some tracks sound like they could have had ayu on vocals, which woulda been good, oh well, not this time thou ![]() whats peoples verdicts on this album then??

I heard this some time ago, and while it wasn't a bad set, it didn't hold my interest too much. I am a fan of Ferry's, but this sounded a bit too.. "mellow" for me (not the trance-y stuff I'm used to from him, like the "Whatever" mix by him) ...lol

Ferry Corsten owns. But I haven't heard the album yet. Just a couple tracks on his site. The ones I've heard are good.

I'm one of those that has had the album since the Dutch release.
Overall, I think it's quality material (I wouldn't expect less from Ferry), though it doesn't stand out as an incredible set. "Sweet Sorrow" is probably my favorite track, much like it is yours. It could have used some more variation, but it's still quite nice. "Sublime" is another that I like. Steve Helstrip (Thrillseekers) is a fantastic producer, so it was cool to hear him team up with Ferry for this track. "Kyoto" is also pretty cool, as that is more along the lines of the System F sound which I have always liked. "Punk" is still a unique track. Definitely was something new and unexpected from Ferry when it first came out. I don't really care all that much for the vocals on the album, though. I would have preferred to hear those tracks without them. |

I like it, I think its an awesome CD ^_^ I just picked it up today at the mall.
Did anyone else catch the text mention of his collaborations with Ayu in the biography on the bonus DVD?
