Ayumi was on entertainment now! (In the UK!)

I got home from school today and I was talking to my friend Ben and what he said just made my jaw hit the ground.
He was up late, didn't get to sleep till about 4am this morning and he was watching TV and on ITV (Channel 3) Entertainment Now was on at 3am
Entertainment Now shows all the main events and entertainment news throughout the world and it showed parts of the MTV Japan Video awards! xD
I couldn't believe it, he recorded it for me and when I went to his house he had the video it showed Ayu winning the award for best video and then it showed her performance of Because of You which I've already seen but OMG Ayu had actually been on british TV VERY VERY early in the morning but still. He said there was another singer on after her but he couldn't remember her name and he didn't record it. Lol.
So with any luck JPop and the japanese culture may become popular over here in the UK!

Awesome

I hope to see Ayu on TV once I get the International Channel on Thursday ! So far, the only J-Idol I've ever seen on TV was Seiko Matsuda in 2002 when there was a report on her on Access Hollywood (I think that was the show)

Cool, the ony asian artist I really like that I'd seen previously on UK TV was Hiiki, albeit at a similarly ungodly hour of the morning

I've only seen Ayumi on MTV Europe's World Chart here.
They also broadcasted the MTV VMAJ once. I think it was in 2002. Both Ayumi (Real Me) and BoA (Valenti) were nominated for best pop, but Blue won the award.

Ooh, and I once saw a fragment of Greatful Days in a documentary about Japan on the National Geographic Channel.

There was once...I could've seen it. The MTV Asia awards, with Ayu and BoA and everything. I think it was 2002. 2003? Dun remember. But y Grandma (who always watches that channel) didn't care for it. So I missed it.
By the way, just as an off topic question...in that MTV Asia Award where Ayu is singing M and then gets that award...is the person that's giving her the award Mandy Moore?!?!?!? I didn't notice her (my eyes were all on Ayu) but my cousin's girlfriend noticed it.
