Justin's Symbol: Bitten of Ayu!? or just a coincidence... =/

I just bought Justin Timberlake's Justified today... and as to my suprise.... i open the cd case.... and BAM!!!!

there's a copycat of Ayu's personalized symbol...

is this a coincidence or a major copyright infringement...

i'll let you all be the judges....

BTW my mom said Ayu should sue Justin... LOL!!!

but it's still pretty different...

Naw, I don't think there's that much resemblence. I mean, I see where you are coming from, but I think it's just coincidence. Ayu's symbol is a combination between an "A" and an "H", Justin's is a "J" and "T". Not exactly the same. I seriously doubt that Justin Timberlake even knows who Ayu is.

It doesn't look like Ayu's A symbol now, but it does look a lot like the "old" A symbol that went with the A single.

I always wondered why she changed her symbol. Very confusing to me. I mean, it's obvious that she took the back half of the old one and mirrored it, but why, I wonder? I guess it looks cooler?

If you notice, there's no "H" in the the "A" symbol from the "A" single. I think she made it just to be an "A". She had the other symbol in her LOVEppears album. Plus, there's an "A" maxi single, and then there's an "H". Then there's the A and H symbol...

not sure if you followed that, but whatever.

Anyway, I think maybe his publicist or whoever made the symbol got the idea from Ayu. Not exactly stolen, but come on... who else thinks of making a symbol from their initials?
