[2005] Why do you guys think about Humming 7/4?

I think that the verses are great and very rock/headbanging like [-cough- ^^-;] and then that the chorus just messes up what could have been a great nuber if it had kept the consistency from the verses....

but I wanna see other people's views from it... I find that hearing out other people's opinions, sightly changes mine in a good or bad direction. soo yea what do you think of it?

I personally hate the song. I can understand why others would really love it, though. However, I just don't like listening to it.

When I first got my copy of MY STORY, I really disliked the song. I was like WTF was Ayu thinking when she wrote this because the beginning is unbelievable conventional and it starts out like all hard rock but the chorus immediately changes into this Upbeat Pop tune which made me go WTF? Like it's all hard rock and then we go "EVERYBODY GO! EVERYBODY JUMP!" and I was like what in the world.... I seriously thought it was like the worst Ayu song ever but slowly after a few listens IT REALLY GREW ON ME! I'm totally loving it now, it's not nearly close to any of her other works but it is still a really really just FUN SONG! Like seriously I can't help jumping myself hahaha but yeah I'm loving this one know. Still it's the weakest track on 'MY STORY' but that's not saying much since everything on 'MY STORY' is amazing.

yeah it took me awhile to be dancing along to Humming 7/4. But it's alright. I don't love it or hate it. I reckon the starting music reminds me of Switchfoot's 'Meant to Live' ... that really annoys me sometimes.

Actually, I love Ayu's Engrish~!! I like the way she says 'Yeah' and 'Wow'~ Her Engrish is very catchy

I love My Story and Humming 7/4 is jst a great fun way to finish a great album ^^

It also took me a while to get use to the song after a few listens of it. But after listening to it and play it on Stepmania, I fell in love with it!! ^^

I agree.. I LOVE the verses, but I don't think I'll ever really like the chorus. Still, I do love the song as a whole

and the lyrics are awesome

Well the song is a bit mediocre in the sense that there is nothing really impressive or original in it. It's just a really lively rock song. I suppose it was an okay song for the ending of MY STORY but it's nothing really groundbreaking. I like this song but as I said it's just an ok song.

some ppl say Humming 7/4 is Ayu's best song in the album~

i reckon it's one of the good songs from the album, i like it as much as many of the tracks from my story so i reckon it's a relli good song~~not disappointed at all

the chorus is relli relli catchy as well

I find the transition b/w the chorus and the verse to be pretty nice. It's very Ayu but then again it sounds like More than very much.

I really like it. I just kinda have to ignore the "Everybody go! Everybody jump!" part. Other than that, it's one of my favorites on the album.

yea exaclty...-sigh- if only she kept up the rock from the verses...then it would be a very good rock song...and she hardly does and 'true' rock stuff

It's a crazy song, even though many don't like the chorus I find it as one of the best parts if you actually interact to the song. I've tried dancing to it a few times and it's cool and crazy.

Party mood, nothing wrong with that, music for fun anyway, and is not like it's withough substance or anything. I don't love it, but still like it.

My least favourite MY STORY song. I don't see it as anything special. It's just... so meh. I could see anyone making a song like it. The other songs have bits, some more than others, that make me think 'now this is why I like Ayu', but Humming 7/4 feels so generic to me. That's just my opinion.

Humming 7/4 is strange- but in a good way, i've never heard such a song like that [you know, the inconsistency between verse & chorus are truly unbelievable],

i think this song meant to be a hidden track for the album, and i think it's one of her best last-album-tracks [independent+ is just HORROR], it's really a weird song, but good at the same time

hehe just realized this after watching CDL 0405; she [hamasaki] read "Humming 7/4" as "Haming Yonbun no Nana", that's so adorable....
