Ayumi's & Ami Suzuki's PV: a little similiar...
Now, I'm not starting any rumors... Since people have been saying that Ayumi and Ami Suzuki hates each other, lately. Neither is this a "she-copied-her" thread. I know some members of this forum are quite annoyed by those particular topics. (don't hate me for starting this thread
 ) But I just watched Ami's latest PV "negai goto" and I found some scenes quite similiar to Ayu "alterna". It's not like both PV were exactly alike. No. On the contrary, the songs are completely different, and so is the main idea and concept of each PV. Now, I have no idea who released their PV first. But yes, some scenes were quite alike. Here goes some pictures:  So what do you think?  I'm sure none of them copied another, but it's quite bizarre. Maybe it's just a coincidense.

Ami's PV made me think of her as more of a Chobit rather than a singing machine. So I don't think any similarities between the 2 were done on purpose.

I noticed both their PVs had stories to them having to do with popularity/and/or record companies. They are really similar in details, but generally are the same types of stories about rising and falling:
alterna=Exploiting record company and hounded by the media, the human side of her is thrown out and replaced with "the Signing Machine", but still has her passion for music. Negaigoto=Popular w/ Sony, thrown out like Ayu, replaced by new people, discovered and has an even bigger comeback. Oh poo, her first single that isn't ___ful.  I don't care about copying, they are in the same record company anyway, but it's strange that the supposed rivals are both making PVs that are very different, yet similar in overall stories.

LOL, haha, that's really really weird then! But I'm sure neither of them are copying each other, it's just the similar concept. Both of them illustrate more or less the same concept! But haha, I'm loving Ayu's alterna! Because there's still a lot of element of originality in there with the white Ayu and dark clowns!
Yup, I'm sure this is by coincidence, because it really seems weird that Avex would like pit them against each other? Or maybe Ayu and Ami are saying, "Hey! Stop treating us like dolls!"

I don't think either of them intentionally copied since the videos are coming out around the same time and they are on the same label. What I DO find odd is that Avex greenlit both videos knowing that the concepts were very much the same.

Ayumi didn't copy anything People seem to forget Pv's are shot along time before the single even drops.
Im sure Alterna was shot months ago as well as Ami's Pv was shot months in advance.

This kinda annoys me a little...here I was all happy because ayu released this PV that seemed so original, only to have another released around the same time that has this much of a similarity :/. tsk tsk...but I still think alterna is just WOW.

i don't know what to say..
and i don't know who copy who its have many similar thing from that caps... maybe avex is trying to fight the press with their PV... but whatever it is..ayu is a way better that ami PV and ayu is cost much than ami...

Ok, I just saw Suzuki's PV and it is listed as being released on 8/16, so it's likely that they were either shot at the same time or Ayumi's was shot first.
I really didn't think that the videos were THAT similar though. The concept has some similarities, but the way they are executed it completely different. Suzuki's PV is pretty good, but Ayu's is much, much darker and more artistic as well imo.

like most of u here, i also feels so happy at first that alterna's pv is so original... but look at this, it makes me disappointed... but i really hope that ayu's was shot first n came out first...
