What is Ayumi's best album?
Hi I'm new here! Well anyway I've only heard about 6 or 7 Ayu songs, and mostly all of them are from different albums. I just got into Ayu recently and I want to know what u all think is her best album. (Besides the remix albums tho..lol ) I really like her, but I don't know which album to get!

You should list what songs you have heard. You might want to start with A BEST.

my favorite, Rainbow, it's soo calming, and the songs are so soothing

IMO her best album is I am..., but it's also a good idea to start with A Best!

my favourite album is Duty and A Ballads, i recommend u to start with A Ballads and MY STORY

Duty, definitely. I wouldn't start with A Best, to be honest, because it's a compilation and as such doesn't have the feeling of an album. A Best would be more suitable for casual listeners who just like the hits, if you really want to hear good stuff check out Duty and her other albums. However, Duty is a great start.

Hmm, my personal favorite is Rainbow. But "I am..." seems to be a more proper introduction

Hello, welcome to AHS!

I would say that you could start with A BEST, I am..., or RAINBOW. Maybe even Duty. But like Phantoma said, you should list the songs you've heard already. MY STORY is a great album too, but in my opinion it seems like an album for, not really what I'd call "advanced" Ayu fans, but an album that you should listen to after you've heard stuff from albums like I've previously mentioned.

Well so far I've heard Moments, No way to say, I am..., STEP you, Is this LOVE?, Heaven, and a remix of Depend on you. Also I really luv the lyrics to this one song called Teddy Bear...It so sad yet so creative!!

Memorial address

MY STORY
"Moments"

I am. . .

A BEST
"Depend on You"

Duty
"teddy bear"

(upcoming album)
"Is this LOVE?"
"STEP you"

I'd personally recommend A BEST and I am. . . If you can get both, you'll definitely be pleased. A BEST contains a few of her classic songs from her first three albums, and I am. . . is commonly regarded as her best album. You definitely cannot go wrong with either one of those.

welcome!!! how long have you been a fan? i strongly recommend A-best, it contains the best of ayu's songs that even now are top of our favorite. it's a great introduction album.

p.s it was A-best that got me into ayu.you should try this thread that i started. it's fun to know what people think of ayu and start to like ayu.

Definately "I am..." is one of her best, IMO... I also really like MY STORY and Memorial Address... ^^
