mp3 players?

I'm planning to get a mp3 player but I can't decide which one I should get; kinda hoping to get a second opinion here. So should I get the:

D-Snap Audio SD100v or an Ipod?

(Hope I posted this in the right place, if not, mods please move.)

if i were u i'd get the D-snap, my doesnt work anymore, and i dunno why...i generally hate ipods but my sister bought it for me

I have an ipod and I like it because it's built like a tank. I've dropped it many times and it still works fine and isn't dented or chipped or bent in any place. I can't tell too much about the build of the D-Snap just by the picture. Maybe it's built well too.

I have an iPod, and I personally like it a lot. But, I haven't really been able to check out a D-snap audio yet....the product looks like it's probably just as good as an iPod...you should probably do a bit of research on both so you can compare between the two.

i use iRiver. a korean brand. i didnt wanna use iPod as it doesnt have a removable battery.. hmm

I'm disappointed with it...my friend get an ordinary mp3 player with no brand names, but it could fit like 600-1000 songs with Rp. 600,000,-
I buy iPod like....Rp. 2.000.000 2 gigs for 200 songs
(the price is in Rupiah, just for comparison...)

I have an ipod and it works great (touch wood) it's taken a few knocks and still works perfectly (the thick rubbery cover i bought probably helps too)

I don't know much about the d-snap, but at least with the ipods they have relatively ok service, lots of accessories, and they are cheaper than most of their competitors (at least in Australia they are)

thus, I say get the ipod!

I have an iPod, and I love it!! You can drop it a million times, and it won't scratch or dent. I don't know too much about the D-Snap, though

I use iRiver too. I suggest a D-snap because I am not too fond of iPods.

Go with the iPod. I have the Nano one and I love it.

1- Looks better
2- Lots of storage
3- Easy to use
4- Screen and colors = wow!

The only bad thing is that you can't remove the batterie.

Just got myself a Creative Zen Vision M the other day. Working fine so far, and supports a lot more video and audio formats, so it really saves a lot of time on converting files. And it's only that little bit pricier.

Well, it certainly depends on how you want do play music. I mean, if you want want lots of songs, a equalizer to make them sound better, etc etc. If you're not picky with those kind of things, then you should get something like the d-snap. If not, get an Ipod or another brand. here are many good mp3 player models out there, they're just not as well promoted as the Ipod (I'm not a great ipod fan ^^;.

I have an iRiver H300, because I don't really care if it's big and kinda heavy, and I'm extremely happy with it. Especially when, now, I can play gameboy color games on it.

Oh, by the way, for those who have Ipods, iRivers and iAudios: check this out. Just be careful to read all the instructions and warnings if you consider installing this on your jukebox.

i have an ipod (that got taken away by the teacher today...biz-natch)

anyway, the only problem i have with it is the formats...its really difficult for me to format the videos...but since your not going for that, i would say get it because it has tons of space, i downloaded almost everything from my computer and i still have over 20GB left...and the removable battery? i dont mind...i just usually leave it hooked up for the whole night, and it lasts all day.

i do like the d-snap but aren't they around the same price? and there's less space...do SD cards only go to 2 GB?
