Warped Tour
For those who don't know what warped tour is, it's a tour featuring a bunch of underground hardcore bands that get together every summer and do a rather inexpensive tour around the United States. Bands such as Underoath, The Academy is... etc are featured there.
Well, i so went yesterday I got to see The Academy is..., Senses Fail, Silverstein, Paramore, Emery, The Bled, Underoath, Hellogoodbye, Cartel... and i can't remember if i saw anymore. They all rocked! Especially Underoath. The only sucky part about the Underoath concert was we (my boyfriend and I) were unknowingly in the mosh pit and we found out the hard way when the music started. My arms are scratched and bruised and my leg has a nice cut on it, and i was scared to death x_o my boyfriend had to push our way out where i dry heaved twice. But it was okay, because the view from where we were outside of the crowd was better.

I don't think the bands that play are hardcore nor underground. Most of the groups have a pop flare and appeal to a larger mass. I was going to go but I have work :[ I would die to see motion city soundtrack live. Or even to just see Pete Wentz playing. I don't know, when I think hardcore I hardly think of any of the bands that play there, I tend to think of Dying Fetus or Kitty. Automic Garden and Plasmatics as well (they're more punk, Plasmatics are more post rock?). |

^Im repeating what my boyfriend said about the music at warped tour, hehehe :3
Uhm, i was kicked in the head by a crowd surfer. I saw Motion City Soundtrack! I wasn't in the crowd though, me and Jamal went somewhere to sit down (my back was killing me x_x) and came back to get his and my sister who was watching and we caught the end of the concert from far away. It was a pretty good view. When we went, Fallout Boy wasn't there :\ i wouldn't have cared, actually, because i don't really like their music except for 2 songs and those are the ones that play on the radio, haha. |

I heard fallout boy is bad live. I'm mostly a huge fan of their acoustics, if you get a chance you listen to their EP ..I think it's called "You're the b-side to my heart." Lurve you and I hope you can post photos!!! |

I hope i can post them too. My sister got a lot of The Academy is... and Paramore. I don't know about other bands x_x
There's another warped tour coming to NC, it's in Charlotte i believe. My bf's sister, him, and me wanna go but we need to talk to our parents x_x luckily, my grandma lives an hour away from Charlotte so we might be able to crash at her place if she's okay with that

If yes, favorite bands that played/highlights of the day...? For Me- Favorite Bands: Cartel, Hellogoodbye, Senses Fail, The Panic Division, The Academy Is..., and Paramore. Highlights: Cartel (because Will is amazing), The Panic Division (because i met Daniel Isaac [groom from p!atd video]), and the giant beaver at the end of Paramore Last edited by It'sSoContagious; 14th July 2006 at 09:04 PM. |

Wow, other people on here actually like my music.
Gasp. I went Tuesday. Not as many good bands this year, but the ones that did play were fantastic! And Fall Out Boy was actually very good live (at last year's warped tour). |
