The Official Jessica Simpson Thread

I predict this thread will die shortly after it's posted. It may not even have a life. If so, I predict a closing due to an excess of bashing, so while it is tempting to bash her, I know (I had to restrain myself a few times when writing this thread), I wanna see how long it'll last on its own merit without having to be closed, so keep the bashing in check, okay?

We all know her. Many of us hate her. I guess some love her, Apparently right now this is around 10,000 people, which is more than I can say even know me.

And so we shall discuss her. I'll start.

I... honestly can't stand her. She used to be able to sing (not well - she got screamy - but at least she showed she could do more than breathe and moan all over every track). She used to seem like a sweet, pleasant girl - and while I know people grow up, she seems to have grown up into... I dunno. Something unpleasant.

That being said? I do like her new album more than I really thought I would. Some tracks (Push Your Tush) are annoying as hell, but overall it's catchy. I just wish it didn't feel so calculated. I also hate the title track - a rip-off of Madonna's Holiday.

I may buy it eventually.

I just wish I could stomach Jessica herself, but maybe there'll be hope for her eventually.

In regards to the album's performance, though, it seems to have fallen out of the top 100 after only three weeks, if I'm reading right. lol jessica (eww, I just said "lol")
