I have an iPod mini, it can't hold music videos, neither can the iPod nanos, but it can store the CD covers & do photo slideshows. You can only have music videos on a iPod.

Well, since it said "Music Videos" in the menu, I'm assuming you can indeed put videos on this new iPod.

I have a video, so I'll be guiding you steop by step how to put a video on.

Do NOT use the converter in iTunes. It removes all the sound.

- Then, once you're done downloading, install it if needed and open it.

- Adjusting your options (on the left) for the output directory, that's up to you, for encoding (profile) please put in "MPEG-4 320X240 1500KBPS STEREO 128KBPS"

- Pick "Add File" and then one the file(s) is/are there, press "Convert".
Depending on the video size, it'll be different time to convert it.

- Then, in iTunes, click on the "Videos" option (on the left) and drag your video's file into the black space.

- Update your iPod, and voila! Your video is there!
Please tell me if it works for you!

of the ipod series, only the original iPod can play videos of any kind. Nanos are limited to audio and pictures ...

that has to be a bad rumour. Ther are programs out there which can rip your I-Pod but to turn a 2gig Ipod nano into a 60gig Ipod is jus physicaly impossible.

Well, the iPod Video can play videos and I guess the new Nano can too

BigAyuFan - Try the "Import" option instead!

Yes, but the new "Original iPod" is the "iPod Video", there doesn't exist any original one without video capacity any longer.

the video folder is there simply because the program, iTunes, is not just for Ipod nano users, but also for ipod mini users and ipod video users.

for example, i use ipod mini, which cannot play videos nor pictures, and i still get the video folder.

so having the video folder there does not mean you can play videos with your ipod nano.

you can only play videos with ipod videos.
