Oricon -- #1 album of April 2003
Is of course... Ayumi! A Ballads took the number 1 spot for April. They don't give exact sales, so we're kinda in the dark. But we can be assured she sold better than anyone else for the month of April (Which folks, tells you right now that A Ballad's sales weren't disappointing in any sense.)

That's great! A Ballads is a great album. There's no reason why it shouldn't be #1 for April.

Yeah, I have known this news already, but 849,000 copies???? It's awesome. Considering that A BALLADS' tracklisting is just from the earlier Album. Only 2 new song, RAINBOW, and sotsugyou sashin. But, I like A Song for XX "030213 session #2" , it's so new of arrangements, music, and Ayu's vocal.

Keep in mind that "A BALLADS" did hit the Monthly #1 position, while "RAINBOW" in fact only was at #2 at its highest point.
