Minutes to Midnight..one month on...
So people, it recieved a lukewarm reception worldwide, many snapped their CDs and cried betrayal while others simply tossed the disk into the garbage in disgust (I may be exaggerating a little.
However, it's been around a month, maybe less....how do people feel about it? Are you satisfied, has the album grown on you? Or is it still sitting on your shelf (or in a file on your computer) forever discarded? Some things grow on you over time. For example, when I first heard Meteora, I only liked "Somewhere I Belong", "Numb" and "Faint"....now I still listen to "Don't Stay", "Lying From You" and "Figure.09". They grew on me slowly... Personally with Minutes to Midnight...I do feel let down, though certain songs are ok...though perhaps I would have liked them more if they were by another band, with Linkin Park, I had much higher standards tbh. Discuss

This album is a lot better than their previous crap. I really like it!

I still wish I liked it because LP are such a great band and got me into rock. Since first listening to it, the only other song I like is In Pieces. That makes only 3 I like.

I listened to it once and got bored, its sat in a folder in my desktop ever since xD
I preferred their old style.. m2m was a big disappointment but hey, whatever floats their boats. Hope with any future releases, LP go back to their musical roots and come out with something worth listening to...

Still a piece of crap...
I would have thrown the CD at LP if I had one but did'nt bother buying it after I listened to it... HT&M still kick ass years on though. haha, 3 million... so it wont sell that much more... did'nt HT sell over 30 million copies? Last edited by ..:Hot:Like:Wow:..; 22nd June 2007 at 12:25 PM.

I still think it's a great album. I bought the CD and have no desire to sell it or anything of the sort. I still love LP! A change is good! Chances are their fourth album will go back to the Rock Rap genre! Where we all know they slaughter all!

When I first heard this CD I wanted to chuck it at a wall.
I hated it all (except for "What I've Done") then, and I hate it all now. I feel like they've taken a step down. Eh. Loved their other albums. But this sucks hard.

It's not that bad really. XD People's expectations were way too high I think. It still sold well, and it did make the top 10 played albums on last.fm.

Leave All Out the Rest and Shadow Of The Day are incredibly catchy. Can't wait to see them released as singles with, hopefully, some great videos.

I think their last albums were way too mainstream. You would hear the songs everywhere, it was so annoying. I really like this one more than Meteora. Can't wait to see them and MCR at Projekt Revolution!
