New Stage Design

Well...I think most of u guys have the same thoughts as I do...
Do u think ayu SHOULD really CHANGE the stage design for her upcoming CDL and ARENA TOUR? really...she's been using the 'almost' identical...even the SAME structure of stage for AT05,06,BoCDL,AT07...like...we are getting quite bored already...even I personally think it's nice coz it's different and unusual...but 4 times in a row for each year will be soo boring. and the CDL stage structurea also almost the same for 2 years in 04-05 and 05-06.

so what do u think?

i think she should change the stage setup, or atleast make it look different every tour. Stage setups are expensive so it's best to use them as much as possible before going into a new one. but 4-5 times in a row is kind of excessive...

CDL is a cheaper tour so i think they will still use the generic stage designs to keep costs down

Maybe she should switch up the way the performances are done instead, since those are the things that keep repeating themselves. XD

i dont think there is a need to change the set up. its a downwards slope from the back to the front, instead of a flat stage. so we can see everything in sight.

and also it makes the stage extremely spacious. it's good to NOT have a 2nd level on the stage. it uses too much space. and its not very useful. i rather ayu have a big stage and suddenly appear from beneath, instead of ayu walking out from some black curtains. cool!

The stage designs aren't that generic. It's just end stage with a runway for arena tours, and end stage for CDL. The reason Best of CDL was with a runway, was because they cut costs and used the asia tour stage, so it was actually an arena tour stage we saw.

ASIA TOUR and MY STORY looked quite a like, but otherwise they variate it pretty well. Like, missunderstood was different with the screens and all. There are only so many ways you can variate a stage structure, it's the decoration that can be changed a lot.

Exactly what I was going to say!

Seriously though, it's so unique and I don't think any of her other concerts have had that sort of stage. I think it's great how you can see everything with dancers on the main stage, the middle of the catwalk, AND at the smaller end of the catwalk! That way you don't have every single fan straining to see Ayu in the center. You can look everywhere and see a smiling dancer see you! ^^

Yeah, I guess she should have a new concept of stage just like AT 06 which was fantastic and *expensive*

For this year's CDL I don't expect much as CDLs stage are usually not very cool, but for next year's tour I expect some greatness

I imagine combination between AT 05/AT 07 with AT 06, so in the middle of the show she could rock the audience by changing the whole stage into....something cool

(Like hiding those huge AT 06 screens behind the AT 07 'palace' set, and then with a big boom the whole palace has changed into sophisticated screens)

But hey next year is her 10th anniversary, avex can give something special...(hopefully...)

Because I like it when people nod their heads saying Ayu's tour was superb

I think they should attempt more 'flying stage' things like that ball in AT06 but instead... like...a flying grand piano *0* ~ but that's just...imagination lol, it'll probably be too expensive to do lol ah well~

Flying things is one of Ayu's specialities, as my friends said 'Ayu really like high places/high up on her performances'

New flying 'things' should be 'invented'

A MUSEUM was hot but I don't like the huge clown face behind it, it really ignored me

The stage decoration at A Museum was the worst ever tho. That clown.. CREEPY. And during the appears performance, how they made the eye light up red.. soo weird.
