Mai Fukui is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter on avex sub-label J-more.

she will release her debut single, "AI no uta," on August 20th. the single's title track, described as a medium ballad, will be used as the theme song to the TBS dorama "koi zora."

her voice is good - and reminds me a bit of ayaka, actually - but the song is lacking.

All I can say is WOW. She has a beautiful voice (just like ayaka although not as low) and the single was excellent! I'll definitely be looking forward to future releases from her .
